This water storage gel is incredible. I only use 2 teaspoons for a quarter bucket with water and it absorbs all the water. I mix it already hydrated in my soil and then plant my seeds or my seedlings. The roots grab the gel and every time I add water, the gel absorbs it and let the root get water slowly. This assure my plants will have water for a longer period of time. I recommend also to add in the same soil some mycorrhizal. This product is not expensive and gives you more for your money.

I decided to test it before using the product so I put one scoop in a cup with about 10oz of water and within 10 minutes it was already a solid blob with all the water absorbed. It could easily hold double that since most of the bits were still slightly dry. I didn't see a need to test the limit of its absorption because even that was enough to impress me. This will be a lifesaver during the summer here in California where water evaporates the second it hits the ground.

this really holds the water. here in Texas it gets so hot and the garden can quickly start wilting. I mixed these in with my planting and it has really helped. we are under a watering restriction where we can only water 1 day a week so this has been a huge help keeping my plants going between my weekly wattering day.

This does not hold shape like it should it shoud look like jello when hydrated. It did at first, 2 weeks later, it's gone or melted and made the top of my soil hard like a crust and I'm trying to germinate seeds. They can't bust through the crust! Don't waste your money. Miracle grow makes one that WORKSI. So glad I didn't add it to our back yard soil. That would have been a disaster

Works well if you work into the soil 4-6 inches deep.

A little really does go a long way. I’m always amazed how much it expands. I spilled some, and it ended up, looking like clear Jell-O all over the ground. The only thing I don’t like is when they dry out they get hard and they stick to the container that they’re in until you saturate them. Same thing if you use them in the soil in the ground

shipment arrived quickly. The crystals were soaked with four hours wait time at the recommended ratio. the expandedto an incredible amount. this should help with the hot summers in North Carolina and several potted plants .
