Quiet & Easy to get exercise with computer work
Easy to use and peddle under my desk while I’m working on the computer. The unit is good quality and it’s smooth to peddle while working. I wanted to just get some movement as I sit at a desk 10 hours per day. I have it at medium tension and I’m finding it easy to peddle for 30 min straight and then intermittent at different times. It’s exactly what I wanted and I like that it’s low profile under my desk. Comfortable to peddle and my knees have plenty of room under the desk yet. I’m short 5’3” but it worked for my husband 6’ also to try it out. I recommend this one. I was happy that I bought the extra model and low profile elliptical vs higher peddles. Good luck! Give it a try!

I'd give this 10 stars!
I'm a clutz when it comes to putting things together, so if it was easy for me, it was very easy. No problem at all.Once together you can't help wanting to try it. I love it! I have an upcoming knee replacement and I have some circulation issues in my legs. This helps with both issues. No noise. Just helpful healthy movement. For me....worth it and I can see myself using it even beyond the knee surgery. It's the best thing I've bought in a long time.🙂

Exactly what I was looking for
As someone who works from home, I worry about how that impacts my health. I have a full-sized elliptical I work out on in the evenings most days of the week, but I can't use that while I'm working. That's where this under-the-desk one comes into play.I want to note that I purchased the regular JR2, not the JR2+. I wanted the newer one, but it wasn't available the day I bought this.So far, I absolutely love it. I'm using it right now as I type.PROS:- It was very simple to assemble and I was pleasantly surprised that this actually came with a full-sized screwdriver, not one of those stupid little 2 inch, cheap, hard to handle-types. Less than 10 minutes to put together and honestly, I just like to take things slowly and at a relaxed pace in life, so I bet most people could manage in half that time.- While not 100% silent, it's very, very quiet. I was just in a conference call with a coworker and I paid attention to my side's sound levels and my mic didn't pick up anything. I didn't think it would, but I wanted to check. It makes a very faint, hardly perceptible, slight little rasp sound as it rotates. Extremely quiet, overall. ----- Edit after 2 months of using it: it's not as silent as it was at first... Ultimately, this isn't a huge issue for me. It still isn't enough to pick up on my work meetings, but I do want to disclose that this is a little bit noisy. It makes a grindy/scraping noise that sometimes goes away after an hour or two, but sometimes it doesn't. Just wanted to be upfront about my experience and let you know that if you actually need something to be completely silent, then this isn't for you. But for me, it's not a big deal, so it's fine at the end of the day.- It has good heft to it without it being too heavy. It stays firmly in place and feels solid. It comes with foot straps, but I set them aside. I don't think I'll be adding them, but it's nice to have the option.- The little rollaway-chair-anchor thing is great. I saw some people say it didn't work well for them, but for me personally, it was the cherry on top of the set up. I can sit back in my chair or scooch forward an inch (better posture, let's be honest) and it still works great, regardless.- The positioning is perfect for me. I know everyone has different desk setups, and mine isn't anything fancy...Just a basic chair that rolls and a cheap desk I put together myself. I moved my surge protector/battery to the side so that there would be ample room and it all fit super well. You'll probably need to make minor adjustments with your monitors, keyboard, etc, but that's a given in this scenario and not a big deal at all.- The mat that you can purchase with it is perfect, but it is a shame that it didn't just come with it. So this is sort of a PRO & a CON point. The company would have won more points with me if they'd included the mat with the elliptical. It's a basic accessory that everyone needs. But....money. What else is new?CONS:- It's ridiculous that the LCD panel isn't backlit. From what I read, this is also the case with their newest model (the JR2+). That's just an incredibly basic feature nearly everything has these days. And yes, I know that the newer model has an app so you can check the stats on there, but even so, how complex can it be to have a backlit panel? Not everyone wants to download an app anyway. I just want to see my stats throughout the day.... I have to use the flashlight on my phone to check the numbers. That's absurd.- I checked the battery to see how to go about removing the panel, etc, and I feel like they could have made that a little bit more user friendly. I can manage fine, but if my mother would have gotten this, I think it would have intimidated her. Considering this type of machine is also marketed for the elderly in need of movement while seated, this feels a little technically challenging. Even I (a 34 year old woman who works in tech) was very surprised at the battery setup.Overall, I'm delighted with it. The last thing I want is for my job to cause a pulmonary embolism or something and let's face it, extra calories burned (over 100 so far in the hour I've been using it this morning) is always a great thing. Honestly, if it just had a backlit display, I would've easily given it 5 stars.

Life changing
The media could not be loaded. I heard about this during a professional continuing Ed session. So quiet! So easy to use! Because I have a foot injury I needed to “walk” with less weight on my feet and my PT suggested a stationary bike. But this has a tiny footprint. I can pop it onto my living room floor and listen to books or watch TV or listen to music or do hand work like sewing. And I’m exercising! Heavenly. Getting my 10K steps in. Easy. The only thing you set up is attaching the pedals. That’s it. It displays time spent, strides, Cals burnt, and has 8 strenuous levels. This is the best exercise tool I’ve ever gotten. Because I use it!

GREAT FOR KEEPING THE BLOOD FLOWING TO YOUR LOWER EXTREMITIES
If you are looking for a high intensity experience, this is not the equipment for you. But who wants to sweat at their desk! I initially set the unit up to level 8 and was expecting a bit more resistance. After 5 minutes I started feeling the effects and I ended up dropping down to around level 5. I'm 67 and got this unit to keep the blood flowing in my lower extremities. If you want a light low impact cardio exercise while working at a desk for hours on end, this unit does the job. It will definitely get you in the weight management cardio range and at the max level probably aerobic range if you work at it long enough. I would say that level 8 on this unit is like level 5 on a good commercial machine. I know this is a bit subjective: various machines, sitting vs. standing, etc.). I read review complaints about the unit moving, I have not experienced this yet. My chair has wheels and is placed on a chair mat, nor does it move, but people of varying weights might have different experiences. You can place one leg of your chair in the so called wheelchair stopper, but you will have to lift the leg in and out of the stopper. It would be nice if the stopper was able to have an adjustable length, but I doubt I will have a need to use the stopper. BTW, I purchased the Cubii JR2 unit.

Easy to use and quiet.
I have bone on bone knees and this was perfect to use for exercise since walking is so painful. In fact my knees feel better since I started using it every day. And walking is becoming less painful. I intend to use it post surgery to keep my legs moving and prevent clots. Love my Cubii!

Fallen apart before a year is up
The screws had to be retightened and the glue came off the rubber feet underneath so it doesn’t stay in place when doing it.

Terrific way to exercise for people with certain mobility problems
This Cubii was recommended to me by my doctor. I have some mobility problems and am not able to exercise on most gym equipment or even on the floor. In the summer and part of the fall, I am able to use the pool and can do an hour a day as there is no pressure on my joints while I am in the water. But from late Fall until late Spring, I try to walk but once the snow arrives, that is not available to me as I cannot manage hills or any elevations. So my doctor showed me his Cubii which he keeps under his desk and uses while he does his paperwork between patients. I am using it nearly every day. As you must be seated to use a Cubii, I can usually stay on it for at least a half hour, once or twice a day. My legs feel stronger and I am happy to be using up some calories again. The machine was easy to put together. It's lightweight enough for me to pick up and move in front of my chair to use. I have a little book where I mark down my progress each time I use it and try to do just a little more each day. It keeps track of the number of strides, calories and miles, as well as the time I have been on it. I also will be able to change the level of difficulty from 1 - 8 as my health improves. This is great for people with sore joints, like hips or knees as you can adjust it to suit yourself. I also read that people recovering from strokes and heart attacks can begin to recover their strength as they sit in their favourite chair.I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.
