Excellent for bedroom
Really easy to use, lights up when any button is touched. We really struggled to navigate the remote that came with the TV especially in dark lighting. Highly recommend especially using TV in bedroom. Connected automatically didn't need to set it up. If I had to say one negative I'd say the buttons are little noisy as they make a clicking sound.

Total failure
Great while it lasted, but six weeks after purchase, two weeks after the return window closed, it has stopped working altogether. Sadly a total waste of money. Buyer beware.

Solid and useful
Very handy, I don't know why more remotes don't light up!. So far has been working well, the scroll wheel can be accidentally moved while selecting and the buttons are very clicky(I guess they are proper buttons whixh is nice)

Works, but power and volume buttons are garbage
Most of the buttons are easy-pressing rectangles, but for some reason some of the most commonly used buttons are weird thin shapes and much harder to press.

LG backlit remote
Buttons are noisy when clicking to change channels ,other than that works as described with no set up or pairing required which is great.

Comfortable and backlit but no pointer or voice control.
This item is a universal backlit remote control replacement for LG TV's, the remote is remarkably similar in shape and design to my original LG TV remote, but implements an additional backlight button and transparent keypad to allow it to function.The remote requires two AA batteries and no pairing was required, it functioned flawlessly out of the box, note however that *this remote does not incorporate magic remote voice or pointer functionality* however if you require those functions the manufacturer has an alternate remote available that implements those features.This device works flawlessly and is comfortable to utilise, but with both remotes currently available for the same pricepoint of £29.99, it's difficult to recommend this over the magic pointer variant unless you really need the backlit keypad.
