Expensive for what it is
This tube is quite small compared to the cost. Also I think I prefer regular style oil cleansers, or cleansing balms. This was sticky and didn't work as well as other options I have tried in the past. I guess it might be good for travel since it's small. But I would not order this again based on the cost for how little you get.

Codex Labs Bia Gentle Cleansing Oil
This Codex Labs Bia Gentle Cleansing Oil works for waterproof makeup. I don't like wearing waterproof makeup because it's so hard to get off, but this cleansing oil gets it off. It has a smell that I can't quite explain. It doesn't bother me, but I don't love the scent. It's creamy, and it applies evenly. It cleanses and it works well on my sensitive skin. It also doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts.

Wife loves this
My wife doesn't wear much make up but she loves this product for removing mascara.

smells like playdoh clay
This is definitely a very gentle oil cleansing makeup remover but I feel like it's too gentle. It's very light and not that strong of a makeup remover so I feel like I have to use a lot of it to take off especially eye makeup with mascara. Takes a few min of scrubbing and even then I gotta use another makeup remover to get rid of it better.I also really don't like the smell - it's the first time I smelled this much potent play doh clay like smell. It's not that pleasant...

Not for me
I have tried several oil cleansers and come to the conclusion they are not for me. I just don’t like how my face feels afterwards. Though this Codex Labs Bia Gentle Cleansing Oil says it turns to milk on contact with water and does not leave the face feeling greasy, I don’t know that I would agree. It wasn’t greasy like if I had applied olive oil, but my face felt heavy and uncomfortable. I really felt like I needed to wash my face to get relief. I have a friend who uses oil all over her body and loves oil cleansing products. I don’t want to imply that this product isn’t good or top quality. It seems very nice. It’s just not a product that works for me.

Performs as advertised, pricey for the size
This is a good makeup remover. It cleans up all of the makeup I’ve worn and tested with it. It has a faint scent that didn’t bother me at all. My only criticism is that for the amount of product I received the price is way too high. It works for travel, but I don’t think I’d order it again at this price point.

Wouldn't use on oily skin
I'd never used an oil cleanser before, so I didn't know what to expect. I did not like how this made my skin feel. It did take my waterproof makeup off very well. My skin wasn't irritated by the cleanser, but in no way did I feel clean. I have oily skin, so this product just made me feel extra oily. It was difficult to completely remove, so I had to use another cleanser after this one to get my face fully clean and fresh-feeling. Also, the tube is incredibly small, like a travel-size tube. And I don't think it's worth it for the price, unfortunately.

So glad I chose this cleansing oil for travel!
I love oil cleansers, and I chose to take this Codex Labs cleanser along with me while traveling since the tube was significantly smaller than the usual 4+ ounce pump bottles that most cleansers seem to come in, and the tube seemed less prone to leaking than a bottle. It was the right choice! This is super gentle on my skin and has a light, lovely scent. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth. You don't need very much to get good coverage, and it doesn't cling to your face when you rinse it away.I use the oil with a facial massager - try it if you haven't, because it feels amazing!
