I've been battling stubborn acne on my chin for months now. 1 goes away and 2 more take it's place. I had some scaring and red marks all over and it was not attractive. I've tried face wash after face wash, I have a drawer just for face masks and peels. Nothing made a difference. This product in 1 week cleared everything up. I took a before and after picture just for my own curiosity and I'm so happy I did. The one remark I have is this wash will bleach your towel. Even after rinsing your face off it messed up my blue wash cloth. I just use a white one and problem solved. Seriously the best product to clear your face up. I would highly recommend using a moisturizer because this will dry you out a bit.

I've been using this product for months and here are my observations:1. it took some time for it to start working.2. it is 10% benzoyl peroxide, the bad reviews saying that it burns are just people who don't know how to wash their face- keep it out of your eyes and don't over apply.3. wash your face well. don't phone it in, you have to massage it into your face for a few minutes.4. use it habitually. preferably, twice a day, morn & night. and always wash it off with cold water.Over all:I had severe acne and this has brought it to moderate acne. it works for most people, chances are it will work for you if you use it correctly.hope this helped.

made my skin extremely dry. the skin around my eyes become very wrinkly and flaky to the point where I looked fifty years older than my actual age. the dryness made my skin extremely itchy (!!!) and made me break out even more...I even had some strange scar/burn marks appear on my face after just one use. it took about two weeks for the extreme itching to go away. i know some people had good luck with this product, and i have used other neutrogena products in the past with success, but i personally would advise you to stay FAR away from this one.

The stuff does work to keep acne away but at the cost of your skin feeling like it’s on fire.. I have loved the rapid clear line up until this cleanser. My skin is so red and irritated!

I thought I rinsed completely, in fact I know I did as I was in the shower, but apparently my towel disagrees. Bleach spots all over. Ruined! This stuff I'm sure is great, but the residue after washing that remains on the surface of your skin bleaches anything you rub up against yourself, towel, shirt, so be careful.

Have been using this product for two weeks, and I am very disappointed. I usually use Cetaphil's face wash, but because I love Neutrogena's moisturizer so much I decided to give their face wash a try. This product was too much for my skin. I have Combination skin, it is extremely oily, and dry basically all over, with mild acne. This product definitely over dried my skin, right after I washed it I could tell my skin felt irritated, and dry. When I would put moisturizer on my skin burned, and got red from irritation. My acne did not really change, the oil on my skin stayed the same, nothing really drastically changed. I am 20 years old, I have been struggling with my skin for a couple years now, it basically has taken over my life. If you have combination/acne prone skin I really recommend using Cetaphils Normal to Oily skin, with Neutrogena's Combination skin moisturizer. The cleanser is strong enough to help oil and acne without over drying at all, I get no dryness using this product, and using the moisturizer from Neutrogena helps maintain my oiliness, and occasional dryness. My skin feels matte at all times, I still get occasional break outs from hormones, but overall this is what works best for me, so I highly suggest it!

It didn't work for my acne, it did nothing at all

I tend to have combination skin and I am on two topical treatments from my dermatologist and recommended that I use Benzoyl Peroxide formulas instead of salicylic acid, due to the condition I have. I had been having some stubborn spots that were not going away, so I decided to purchase this and continue to use my other Neutrogena just in case. Well I am glad had my other formula, because this one gave me bad results! It literally dried my skin to the bone and turned my face beet red, aka an allergic reaction! I had used 10% formulas in the past, but this one was just really bad! If you have sensitive skin, do not use this! I was disappointed because Neutrogena products are usually fantastic

Es un buen producto, solamente llevo una semana aplicando pero ya empiezo a ver resultados. Es tipo crema no hace espuma pero se siente el rostro limpio.No se me ha secado la piel para nada y los granos han disminuido su tamaño y rojez considerablemente.

Have been using it for a month, absolutely a great product. My face has not been so oil-free in years. Gives a very clean feeling for a long time during the day.After use it leaves my skin a bit dryer than before, but in my case that is easily solved with a good moisturizer.

La dermatologa me había recetado el gel Benzac que tambien es peroxido de benzoilo para los brotes, muy caro por cierto (mas de $500 pesos en farmacias del ahorro), cosa que al final me receto un medicamento que tome durante 3 años, ya habia pasado años sin brotes y hasta este año después de casi mas de 5 años volvi con los brotes y vi este producto que tambien es peroxido de benzoilo, y decidi probar, y me quito el brote por completo, y cualquier grano que me sale a la mañana siguiente me lo desvanece.Recomiendo usarlo como me lo recetaron, por las noches cubrir bien la cara, y untar un poquito extra en los brotes o granos directamente (eso si con tu rostro y cara limpia). Tambien en otras zonas del cuerpo en donde salgan te los quita. Si es una urgencia, por las mañana es recomendar untar directamente en el grano o brotes y usar bloqueador solar si se van a exponer al sol.

El producto tiene un activo que es para tratamiento de acne leve a medio, mi problema es que me salen muchos granos en la frente , en los primeros dias pude ver que reduce el tamaño ,inflamacion de estos, yo lo aplico unicamente en las noches con el rostro limpio .Llevo casi un mes con el tratamiento y la verdad es que he notado buenos resultados pero como dice en el titulo , es eficaz pero requiere tiempo para ver los resultados , de echo me estuvieron saliendo mas granitos cuando estaba en la semana 2 a la 3 , y despues casi un mes mi cara ademas de estar sin granos se me ha aclarado, esto lo han notado mis compañeros y familiares.Sigo con el tratamiento que espero en un mes mas me quite los granos a un 80% .Una recomendacion es que usen poco producto en su primera semana para ver la reaccion de su piel y despues de usarlo es obligatorio ponerse una crema humectante , yo uso la de neutrogena de toronja con acido salicilico y va perfecta

I purchased this cleanser because it was recommended to me by a friend to help with my stubborn hormonal acne. For me, it is not as irritating as a lot of reviews on this website would have you believe. That being said, it does bleach face washcloths (although that could be solved by using only white ones). It wasn't as harsh or drying as the physical cleansers I used is the past, but it also didn't do much for my acne so far (after two weeks of regular use). Will continue using it, for now, to see if there will be any improvement by the sixth week, not sure I would repurchase.

Empiezas a notar resultados rápidamente porque clarea las manchas que deja el acné, pero si tienes piel sensible si te irrita mucho, hay que aplicar algún hidratante natural después de aplicar por que si reseca bastante la piel y si te aplicas algún hidratante comercial causa reacción y notas inmediatamente como se va enrojeciendo la cara.

Soy de piel gruesa, grasosa, morenito , poros enormes.Cada acné se produce y se controla de diferentes maneras para cada persona. A mí me funcionó sin ninguna reacción alérgica ni irritación.

Para personas que tienen problemas de brotes de acné y los tratamientos con ácido salicílico ya no funcionan o nunca han funcionado, les recomiendo probar esta alternativa.
