Missed this album when I lost the disc. Tunes pretty much hold up like I remember

One of the best albums of the 2000s

A "Rage against the machine " style and likeness. That being said...WOW on the style and jamming !! Do you like rap/core metal ? If yes...you need to own these guys !!!

This album gives you a kick in the ass

Growing up, I loved this genre and band. I've had Bleed The Sky for the longest time, but never obtained Laced. Now that I have it, I can be whole. Shame they discontinued their journey together. Solid album and solid band. Love them!

Reveille is not a very well known band but they have some great music. If you like heavy-metal mixed with some hip-hop you will love this band and album.

Better than expected......

I don't see why people are mad at Reveille because they sound like Rage Against The Machine. Sure, Drew screams are a lot like Zach De La Rocha, but I mean, of course some vocals have to be a little close to each other, don't they? The rest of the music doesn't sound very close to Rage Against the Machine at all, as it is far heavier. It is very melodic, and I'd like to compare it more to One Minute Silence. I really don't know why, but I think it fits rainy days well. Laced is kind of poppy and could easily be on MTV, but thankfully I don't think we'll be seeing them on TRL anytime soon. It is harsh and political, as well as being fiercly angry. The only part that I don't really like is the fact that they're not very unique. They are too easily comparable to a lot of other bands, and bands like Incubus aren't. The whole CD is fairly listenable, and it's not something that you'll have a lot of trouble getting into. My favorite songs here are Permanent (Take A Look Around), Butterfly, The Phoenix, Splitt (Comin' Out Swingin'), and Flesh And Blood. They are a great young band and the best to come out of Boston since Staind. Some similar bands to check out are Downset, One Minute Silence, and Rage Against the Machine.

直球（？）ラップメタルバンドの1st。ザクザクと鋭利に刻まれるギターリフと高音で艶っぽくラップしたり、荒々しくがなったりするボーカルが格好いいです。Cypress HillのMC B-Real（不思議な声の方）が参加してる曲も良曲。ラップメタルというジャンルはミクスチャーロックをルーツに持っているせいか雑食性の強いバンドも多いです。DJ担当が色んな音源をサンプリングしたり、ギタリストが多彩なエフェクター使いで効果音フレーズを奏でたりします。それはそれで良いのですがこのアルバムは珍しく（メタル＋ハードコア）×ラップという方程式を愚直に守っていて、今聴くとある意味硬派な渋みがあります。職人肌のラップメタルバンドという感じ。変化球も取り入れた次作「Bleed The Sky」も良し。
