Very light and portable, sips fuel, runs well. Handy to project with or take camping.
This is my favorite lil generator. we also have the next two larger models in same brand / series and they are all awesome. whisper quiet! Only negative: takes a few hard pulls to get started and is hesitant to restart if you shut it off then go to restart right away but it always restarts. Takes several aggressive rips on the pullcord. Maybe an electric start model next go around.

Reliable Backup Generator for Home Emergencies
Having gone through multiple generators, including a sizeable inverter for our main house and a reused Westinghouse standard generator for our well, I was eager to find a solution to the recent power outage during Hurricane Helena. While our large generators performed admirably, a flaw emerged in my fuel-saving strategy. Despite only running the house generator for limited hours to conserve fuel and extend its lifespan, our new energy-efficient Samsung fridge struggled to maintain its temperature during the power gaps, resulting in over $700 worth of spoiled food. Enter this new backup generator, purchased specifically to address this critical gap. Setting it up was a breeze, and I appreciated thoughtful details like the convenient oil fill spout and user-friendly displays that track service intervals and fuel levels precisely. In testing it with just the fridge, the fuel consumption was a reasonable 2.1 liters for 6 hours, showcasing its efficiency. Additionally, the peace of mind knowing we have a reliable secondary power source in case of generator failure is truly invaluable. An Update on Performance: After about 20 hours of use, I encountered starting difficulties and a rough running engine. Troubleshooting led me to a simple solution of replacing the factory spark plug with a higher-quality NGK plug, instantly resolving the issue and restoring smooth operation. The generator now starts reliably with just a couple of pulls, demonstrating its dependability in times of need.

Received a bad one
This is my second generator of the same exact model. I've had less than three months and no longer runs, not impressed. As of February 2nd I am only receiving a runar round from the company to do this. That and the other all of which is not in their manual. They are expecting me to become a mechanic rather than replacing a defective item. Received fards that supposedly would fix. It did not and am still getting the runaround.

This little generator is "The Little Engine That Could"!
A+++ , We purchased a new Westinghouse iGen2800 inverter generator to use when camping with our RV. This generator is literally .................... "The Little Engine That Could". Light weight, powerful, and surprisingly quiet. The digital display includes a gas gauge that comes in handy. And speaking of gas: This little generator is a gas "sipper". Under a small load it can last over 10 hrs. (and that's not too shabby). I highly recommend the Westinghouse iGen2800 to anyone looking for a great little generator at a great price. I can't mention any names, but it compares very closely to the little RED generators, but at 1/2 the price! The most bang for your buck, that's for sure! Tim & Cheryl Haas

My Camping 2550 Westinghouse Generator
Folks, I purchased this generator from Amazon. It's a Westinghouse,2550 1900 running watts. I have been debating about this unit for a long time. I've seen Westinghouse Generators at Smokemont Campground, where I camp a lot. I've always noticed how quiet it was compared to some of the other generators in the campground. I was very impressed when I put the oil & gas in the generator. It took about 3 to 4 pulls, and she fired off. The best part is that I'm 75 years old, and I can lift this generator and put it in the back of the truck with one arm. It's very impressive, very light, and sounds so quiet compared to my other generator. If you're looking for a generator, go with Westinghouse. You will not be disappointed.

Great little generator!!!
The i2550 has an intuitive control panel, it’s easy to start, and the display offers a variety of important information. The generator weighs about 50 pounds but is not too heavy to put in the back of my truck. The generator is a little louder than I expected. I don’t have a dB meter so, I can’t comment on the accuracy of the specifications on noise level. It’s just my own perception. Overall, I’d recommend the i2550 - it’s a great value!
