Great speaker, beefs up base wo much added bodyweight
I should be giving Amazon one less star for their lies on ship windows, but UE doesn’t deserve the knock, because this company consistently brings it and improves. They take customer input seriously and alter products for it. This Everboom was a response to critiques of “not enough bass” for their boom and megaboom speakers, which are honestly great. Even the tiny wonderboom speaker is great. If you can catch these on sale, they are an incredible value. I got this one for 214.00 $55 bucks off, making it about the megaboom price. This new generation of UE speakers is great. No, it doesn’t play for 20 hours at max volume, but it does play for longer than 20 hours below the half volume, so use your brain when considering that an actual critique. The bluetooth connection on UE speakers is FLAWLESS. The speaker connects and pairs easily, and there are zero gaps or delays in the playback/stream. This speaker is great for that extra bass for a richer ambient music/party experience. I got this for a boat day coming up, and the durability was why I went with UE yet again. The design is minimalist and fun, they are truly waterproof and float, and they are compact enought to strap to a bag or cooler or hook easily. This one is a little heavier but still slight for what it provides. There was a time where you just couldn't achieve this kinda sound on a portable speaker, let alone a wirelessly connected one. This speaker sounds superior to the old JBL smooth surfaced base and satellite speakers you had hardwire connections and a giant power source to plug in. Technology is a trip. Buy this speaker. Even better if you buy on sale. The app is nothing special, but does the things it says: EQ and party pairing hundreds of these together. I intend to buy another immediately given how amazing this sound was. For audiophiles, I can’t account for the terrible reviews, other than to say your expectations should be in the portable speaker category, not the home theatre or movie theatre sound, or even the sound that comes from nose cancelling bose headphones. But that’s not what this product is for. This is a social lubricant speaker: it is intended for group events, parties, cookouts, boat days, and for that purpose they are nearly perfect products. Also- UE hasn’t passed on overhead or materials costs spikes on to their customers. The wonderboom, boom, and megaboom have held steady price points for a decade. That’s enough for me to be a loyal customer. Well done, UE! Also, the colors are great, I just wish we could get the same megaboom colors for the Everboom and Epicboom series. *UPDATE*** Had this speaker all summer and fall. Amazing. Strategic placement will also draw out a better sound, just fyi. Found a new use for it: white noise speaker for whatever app you have on your phone. I listen to audiobooks around the house with this on as well. Dropped a number of times being clumsy on a hardwood floor. Zero damage. Even cheaper than I bought it during summer now.

A Reliable Portable Speaker I Actually Take Outdoors
I wanted a portable speaker I could actually take outdoors without stressing about it getting wet or beat up. The UE Everboom has worked well for that. I’ve used it on hikes, clipped it to a backpack using the hook loop, and around water without issues. It’s waterproof, it floats, and it keeps playing even after getting wet, which was important for me. The hook loop makes it easy to carry hands-free, and the size is perfect for travel. Sound is clear and loud enough for outdoor use, and the battery has lasted through full days out. Overall, it’s been a solid option for outdoor trips and travel when I just want something reliable and easy to take with me.

Ultimate Ears best portable speaker to date!
I recently got my hands on the Ultimate Ears EVERBOOM, and let me tell you, it’s a total game changer when it comes to portable speakers! First impression? Aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly compact for the powerhouse it is! The design is sleek yet rugged, which has made it the perfect companion for both my backyard barbecues and beach days. Sound quality? Exceptional! This little gadget absolutely fills the space with rich, booming sound (pun intended!). The deep bass packs a punch without overpowering the mid and high tones, making it perfect for any genre. Whether I’m blasting some classic rock or chilling to upbeat summer tunes, it handles everything with flair. Plus, the 360-degree sound is a brilliant feature – no matter where you are, the tunes follow you around! Battery life is another big win here. I’ve taken it on numerous day trips and have yet to experience a dead battery, which is impressive considering how much I love to keep the music going! The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, easy to pair, and stays strong even at a distance. One of my favorite features is the customizable EQ settings via the app. It's really cool being able to tweak the sound to match my mood or the vibe of the crowd. And let’s not forget the durability! This baby can handle a spill or two, and I appreciate that it’s also water-resistant. In short, the Ultimate Ears EVERBOOM has officially revolutionized my music experience. If you’re on the hunt for a portable speaker that doesn’t skimp on sound, versatility, or durability, look no further. It’s worth every penny and has already become a staple in my life. Highly recommend it to fellow music lovers! 🎶🎉

Great
This thing is awesome. I take it paddle boarding with me and have no worries of it failing on me or getting water damage. Only complaint is it is a little bass heavy, but this can be mostly corrected in EQ settings.

best speaker
Easily the best portable speaker UE has made yet. It’s louder than the Megaboom and much more portable than the Epicboom. It's fully waterproof (IP67), floats, and the 360 sound means there are no "dead spots" in the room. The Cobalt Blue is a great deep shade. If you want something rugged that still sounds like a high-end home speaker, get this.

Perfect portable speaker
Perfect speaker for the outdoors, pool side, garage workouts or vibing by the fire pit. The sound is amazing, you can hear everything perfectly. Connectivity is seamless, the clarity of the music is perfect. Works amazing in all aspects. Good value for the money with all the speakers out there. Battery life is incredible. Just as all the Ultimate Ears products, it is perfect for water side as it floats and is waterproof.

False advertising
I was really disappointed with this speaker. The color was nowhere near what was shown in the picture. I was so excited because I thought it would be a pale baby blue, my favorite color, but instead it arrived as this extremely vibrant, bright hue that doesn’t match at all. The overall color scheme just clashes and looks cheap in person. I specifically purchased it to fit the aesthetic of my apartment, so this was a huge letdown—especially given the $269 price tag. I expected a product that matched the ad, and unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver.

For the price of the speaker I found it to be pretty disappointing. Im a huge Ultimate Ears fan. I currently have 3 other speakers being the Hyperboom, Epicboom and the Wonderboom. The Everboom to me had perfect size for that kind of on the go speaker, had a great build quality and felt high quality in the hands but once i turned it on and listened to it i was pretty disappointed. To me it is not louder than my Wonderboom which is less than half the size. It has much better low end than the Wonderboom does however, that is a $100 speaker compared to a $350 speaker. EpicBoom sounds much better and is louder than the EverBoom. It is definitely worth it making the jump to the EpicBoom unless the size is too much then id recommend going to MegaBoom for a cheaper option. EverBoom sounded muffled at full volume even after messing around with the EQ in the app. It also seemed to struggle with louder sounds at max volume as it would seem like the volume would be fluctuating. All in all, build quality and size of the EverBoom was brilliant however the sound and performance was pretty disappointing. Hyperboom is by far the best though.

Good nfc conection, sounds ok, not very powerful. When use as a ''megaphone'' there is a delay which is very annoying and pretty much useless for me (cant make karaoke or a speech because you ear yourself after a delay). Good construction quality.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of volume and sound quality as well as the battery life. When I had the Everboom at full volume in a small space I was still able to have a conversation with someone at normal speaking level. I honestly thought that my phone's volume was acting up or I needed to restart it, thinking that maybe my phone was the culprit of the low volume. But no, this speaker is just that quiet We use a Mega Boom at my work to listen to music and I keep the volume at a little over half which is perfect for the 10,000 sqft building I work out of. When I compared the Everboom to the almost 10 year old Mega Boom, the Everboom was noticably quieter than the Megaboom at the same volume level and has a buzzing noise when the volume was increased to match the megaboom's ability. The battery life is beyond bad, I played this speaker at its quiet "full volume" for 45mins and it dropped from full charge to 70%. My wonderbooms are almost louder and better sounding than the Everboom. I've returned the Everboom and will be on the look out for the Mega Boom. Skip this speaker, it's overpriced and frankly the lower priced models are better in both volume and sound quality and that's coming from someone who isn't that picky about sound quality.

this is a decent sounding speaker. price wise I'm not sure about that though.
