Bought one of these, watched my little one dive into it vs the furniture and immediately ordered a second one. These are great!2.19 UPDATE: I got down on my hands and knees to eyeball one of these just now (about three weeks after purchasing.) Thin fibers that I can barely see are starting to sprout up. Some quite long. Now I’m concerned they might end up in my cat’s mouth and throat. I trimmed as much of them as I could with sissors. Here’s a photo showing two of the fibers. Will monitor closely.

My cat had started to scratch my new carpet and I needed something that would cover the area where she was scratching. She took a liking to sleep on the chair near the carpet and when she woke up, she would do her stretching and scratch the carpet once or twice. I bought this mat to cover the area where she was scratching.As with all scratching posts/objects, you need to show the cat that it should scratch the mat and not the carpet/anything else. I put the carpet down in the area and scratched the mat in front of her, I also put a little bit of capnip on it to make her attracted to the mat. Make sure you give treats when your cat starts scratching the mat to reinforce that scratching the mat is good behavior.The mat itself is 20x20 inches. It is made of sisal and the bottom of the mat has a rubberized texture to prevent it from moving around. All in all, its a good quality product for the price

My cats love this scratchy. The quality is much better than the regular scratch mats you find at the store, and it’s weighted a little bit so it doesn’t move around or lift up when they scratch on it. It’s not as small as other mats, but it’s not huge either. It’s just the right size. One of my cats has only ever preferred scratching posts instead of scratch mats, but he actually used this one (first time I’ve seen him use a scratch mat rather than scratch post). I’ve had this for a few weeks now and it’s holding up great despite how much they use it. I’ll definitely order another one when this one’s time is up. Definitely recommend!

The truth is that the mat itself is great. However, my 14 year old cat refuses to use it to scratch on, just as she refuses to use a scratching post. I have tried enticements such as catnip on both, but she prefers area rugs to my great chagrin. But I did want to give this product an excellent review, since it is super nice and hopefully other cats get the concept that has eluded my cat!!

Cat took to it immediately, knows what it's for and uses it for a flop, too. It has some weighted rubber feet to keep it down and in place, which I wasn't expecting. Good stuff, will buy again.

So much better than the corrugated cardboard scrathers I've purchased in the past. It satisfies the cats and doesn't create a mess. Also very durable so far.

Our cavapoo scratches at the door when we leave the house. It ruins the door, frame, and paint piles up on the floor! Found this thing and all that has stopped. We double knotted the top to make it higher and it’s worked like a charm!

I bought this because my cat started scratching at the carpet in the bedroom at night when she wanted to wake me up. I put it in the spot that she scratches, so now she isn't damaging the carpet. It's noisy when she scratches on it and she still wakes me up, but the carpet is safe so I guess we both win. It's thin enough that I can open the door over it and it stays in place well without sliding around.

デザインは気に入りました。想定通りでしたので。でも猫がこれを使って爪を研がないのは想定外でした。うちの猫には向きません。単なるジュウタンに過ぎませんでした。

絨毯で爪とぎしていて防止するために専用のパッドを買いましたが、何故かパッドを避けて、すぐそばの絨毯でばかり爪とぎします。研ぎたくなるような材質なのですが、うちの猫は気に入らなかったようです。

遊びにも使えるし、教えたらラグでガリガリしないで、マットのでガリガリが気に入ったらしく、遊ぶときはマットの上で待っていて買って良かったです。滑り止めも頼もしいです。

物はとてもよいです。ただ臭いが苦手なのかなかなか使ってくれません。根気よく慣らせていきたいと思います。

がりがり、ゴロゴロして我が家の３匹の猫にとても好評でした、もう１枚追加購入するかも。
