Haven’t had for too long yet, but these things are working awesome so far. My only concern was keeping them clean, since they did get so many bugs. Pro Cleaning hack- pop off the bottom and blast it with a leaf blower and it’s clean in two seconds. Going to buy a third!

I had no idea how much I needed this Bug Zapper until I got it! From gnats to mosquitoes and everything in between, this thing works amazingly well at keeping my space bug-free. The upgraded 18W blue-violet light is incredibly effective—it attracts and eliminates pests better than any other zapper I’ve used before. The 2W LED lamp adds extra brightness, and the coverage I stay protected. Whether I’m relaxing outside or having guests over, I no longer have to deal with those annoying flying bugs constantly buzzing around. I also love that it’s safe to use indoors and outdoors, and the build quality feels durable and well-made. Cleanup is easy, and it works silently but powerfully. I honestly didn’t realize how much of a difference this would make until I saw just how many bugs it catches every night! Super easy to use and the price is great for what you get. If you’re tired of dealing with mosquitoes, gnats, and flies, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommended for any home, patio, or backyard!

This is my second bug zapper purchase in a week (live in an area with an abundance of horse flys & mosquitos). My first was a zapper for up to 2 acre coverage & it worked so well that I wanted a smaller one to hang out by the grill/porch area. This one covers half to one acre & is great for the area of porch that I need some bug control. Between the lights coming from all the bay windows and outdoor flood lights, the bugs come zooming in as soon as people step outside. This zapper has dramatically reduced the number of bugs! It's allowed us to grill out more comfortably & without dousing ourselves in bug spray. It has a nice long cord and a handle for hanging. I hung it from a Shepards hook mounted to the side of my deck. Very easy....no assembly required. Just pull it out of the box & plug it in. You'll be amazed at how quickly the number of bugs start to decline. It has made our time outside grilling & entertaining so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

As a full time RV'er moving almost every two weeks, we never know what the bug situation is going to be like. This unit has fit the bill very well. The first day I had it I ran it overnight. Sounded like a machine gun when the bugs hit the grid. The carcass cup under it was full the first night. I am super impressed with this unit! After a couple of nights, I noticed a huge reduction in mosquitoes, flies, and all other types of flying annoyances. Highly recommend.

The light is bright so the bugs are attracted to the light I have it inside my house to protect my little girl from the bugs that come in when we open the door.

This has been an amazing device! It has zapped mosquitos, carpenter bees, moths and other bugs I can't identify. I have to be sure to clean it often. I've had NO mosquito bites this summer. I haven't yet figured out how to get the tray out, but used brush and gently tapped it on the ground to get dead bugs out through the summer. I very highly recommend this zapper. I live in the city where neighbor yards are close (long thin lots) and they have benefitted from me having this zapper as well and thanked me. I only had to turn it off at times because my grand dog when visiting was afraid of the noise of the zapping (or maybe it puts out a sound humans can't hear) and she would not go out to potty. :-)

I’ve had mine up for about a week and a half, and it’s been working great! Our dogs were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes in our backyard this summer, and pet-safe sprays/coils just weren’t working. I put this thing up, and the first picture (UV light off) shows the results after just 4 days! It was full of moths, mosquitoes, stink bugs, flies, gnats, flying ants, and even regular ants (the regular ants got fried while trying to scavenge the corpses)! Walking through my backyard, there’s now a noticeable difference in the amount of mosquitoes. Before, I couldn’t walk out the door in the morning without having 5-10 buzzing around me, now I’ll see 1 or 2 after a few minutes. And it actually is waterproof! It’s rained very hard a few times since I’ve put it up, and it still works just fine. Cleaning it out is pretty straightforward, but I would recommend using a brush of your own to make the process a lot easier/quicker. The included brush works, but it’s not the best. And I’m not sure if the chain in the pictures is supposed to come with it, but mine didn’t. Not a big deal since I already planned on hanging it by the carrying handle on my shepherd hook anyway. Lastly, the user manual states that the light is not replaceable, and that you should dispose of the lamp once the light stops working. Initially, I was furious after reading this, as I had purchased two replacement bulbs (same brand) along with my order that said it was a direct replacement for this model. Rest assured, these bulbs DO fit and work, and they’re easy to replace. Just remove the bottom collection tray, then two small screws on the cover behind that, and you can access the old bulb.

It get the job done. I wish it had a larger collection try underneath it for the dead bugs. Not all fall inside.
