Nice and bright as well as covers the entire piano keyboard. Also very easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. I love this thing. I appreciate that it has a button on the base instead of on the top so that when you press it, you aren't knocking the thing off the piano! Very important.The base has a good non-scratch foam and good weight. I trust that it won't damage the piano.There are five colors of light for different color temperatures. You can also choose brightness and all are sufficient.I like that the buttons are physical and not capacitive. That makes them feel better to me.I found the power cord to be too short. I bought an extension cord. Look for male to female extension barrel jack 3.5mm by 1.35mm DC cable.Huge upgrade to the piano, highly recommended to buy this. You will never understand how you lived without this.

I wanted a light for setting on my baby grand piano. The product has a five foot electrical cord. It should have an 8 foot minimum cord for placement on pianos, so as to reach the nearest outlet. I grudgingly added an extension cord ( none are attractive), only because I liked the light.

This piano light is excellent - offers to many shades of light and the arm is extremely flexible so positioning the light is so adaptable to any lighting needs.

I use this on top of my studio Kawai piano and teach piano and flute lessons. My whole family practices throughout the week so it gets nearly daily use.What I love:1. It's black and sort of blends in with my black piano.2. Good, strong light (I use the warm white setting).What I don't love:1. I use Smart Plugs to turn all the lights and electronics in my studio on and off all at once. When you cut the power at the plug and then turn it back on, this lamp DOESN'T automatically turn on....I have to manually push the button on the base every time. This gets pretty annoying. I had a different (similar) lamp for a few years that operated the same way and when I replaced it with this one, I was really hoping it would work with my smart plug, but no such luck.2. This is my biggest complaint: the gooseneck is NOT fully flexible. The first 6 or 8 inches or so coming out of the base is rigid. This would not be a problem in some setups (i.e. a spinnet or digital piano with a low back and music holder where your would set the lamp behind the music holder). But on top of a studio height piano, it ends up being super tall and I can only bend the neck down so far to get the light close to my music. I just wish there had been a picture or something in the description to show this about the lamp; I probably wouldn't have bought it.Ultimately, is does work for me and I chose not to return it because it was a more affordable option (compared to the $150+ piano lamps). But still, for around $50, I had higher expectations.It's a good lamp overall, and these things may not be a problem for someone else.

This was perfect for my Yamaha upright piano. The length of the light illuminates a lot of the keyboard. The optional colors are also helpful when reading different colored music books and paper. It is a sturdy light and I've had no problems with it falling over. It is very adjustable.

I am using this lamp for our piano. It works great and lights up the keys as well as the music. It has three levels of lighting which is very nice. The only issue I have is the power cord is only five feet long, requiring an extension cord to plug it in.
