I had never encountered "Walking Poles " prior to making this purchase for my wife. My first impression was that they were light, easily adjusted and gave just the right amount of gentle support to enable the user to step out with confidence.As I wrote in my opening, they were purchased for my wife; she is recovering from hip replacement surgery and suffered severe loss of confidence in her ability to walk for pleasure. The poles have helped a great deal. Initially, we had a slight problem with co-ordination and foul language, (my wife is proud of her ability to be offensive in three languages,) but now she is beginning to walk with more confidence with AND WITHOUT (!) her poles.I personally consider that they are a good idea. They encourage the user to walk with a straight back and swing the legs easily as if marching, they are not an aid like a zimmer frame. They are like a good friend whose company shortens the miles.

Poles were exactly as described, which were bought for my wife to help with her back problem when walking. They are proving to be of great benenfit. Very good value for the money, the postage seemed a high cost.

These were purchased for my partner to take up Nordic Walking along with myself as I was advised to take up the sport for health physio reasons. I have a fine set of Gabel Stride Light Fixed length poles but my partner was after an adjustable set so she could pack them away better for travelling. We got these after reading the reviews and was not expecting such a Top Quality Pole Set as these have proven to be. Excellent Value for Money can not fault these poles in any way. My Partner was an avid jogger and these poles have converted her from Jogging to Nordic Walking after she managed to get the sync right between arm and leg movements of the Nordic Style Walking, these are now used 3 times a week and have been since purchase, on both rough ground and regular pathways and are showing very little sign of wear at all. Great Value , Hard Wearing.

A very good product at a good price. Be careful when initially adjusting them not to go past the 'stop' sign as this is easily done when pulling to extend. They can be put back together easily by adjusting the black expanding clamp without force. The seller's customer service is exceptional also by the way I found! Great sturdy product and great fun to use

Ok but having a buckle on the strap, it slips and the release strap is difficult But for what I use it for which is an hour and a half a week, its fine

Note that the poles illustrated are not identical.The red/black poles are marked for heights between 110-135cm and come with a useful set of alternative tip pads (although I am informed that this is only a temporary offer).The white/blue poles are marked for heights between 115-135cm and only come with one set of tip pads which are made of a very hard material and are prone to slipping off if you have a tendency to drag the poles.The poles are lightweight and well made - although one pole is already becoming slightly harder to adjust after very few uses.Regardless of the markings, the poles are continuously adjustable for height although the lack of clear instructions makes adjustments initially difficult (as several other reviewers have noted).When I have borrowed LEKI poles before I have them adjusted to 107cm however I have to adjust these to 112cm with the lower section fully extended to the STOP mark so they may not be suitable for people over 190cm tall (6ft 2in)So, 4 stars for the red poles while the offer of alternative pads last.

Excellent product, better than expected. Bought them from my wife to help with her exercise regime. Product is well made, and it arrived well packed and on time in good condition. I would rate this product as five-star. Only one comment wristband,was a bit difficult to get used to. And yes, I would recommend this to anybody who is thinking of taking up Nordic walking, or somebody who just requires some extra confidence whilst walking.

i have only tried these at home at the moment, but am looking forward to going walking with them. think they will help. Ihave now tried these I think they are great, exactly what I needed, i walk slightly quicker, and go a little further,i'm hoping it will keep on improving, and these are the things that will make that possible

Ich habe die Stöcke jetzt schon länger in GEbrauch.Handhabung: man muss eben drauf achten, die Handschlaufen an der richtigen Hand anzulegen.Es ist sehr einfach, die Stöcke einzustellen. Durch das Zusammenschieben ist auch ein TRansport im Auto möglich ohne Probleme.Die stöcke selbst emofinde ich als leicht.Fazit: Viel Stock für wenig Geld.

Je cherchais des bâtons légers et en même tant solides et pas chers. J' ai trouvé ceux ci, j' ai commandé et reçu très vite par la poste. Mon époux est ravis, il s' en sert pour marcher après grave maladie de la moelle osseuse, donc rééducation par la marche sur nos chemins en montagne. Il apprécie la qualité et le léger de ces bâtons, réglage facile et la couleur rouge foncé. Pour le prix rien à redire et bon matériel. Merci. A recommander.
