Simple
This cable is a much better option than recommended when I purchase the dash cam. It was a very simple installation. I recommend this option and I will be using same cable on my other vehicle.

Great for additional protection.
I got this in the nick of time. I wanted my dash cam to be able to record while I was on a trip. And it was a good thing that I did. while my car was at the airport parking I got struck by an other vehicle and my dash cam came on and recorded the license plate and drive. Needless to say, justice was served. Works as described.

Does not work with Redtiger F7N dashcam.
Fails to power the camera from OBD port even in normal (non-parking) mode with engine on. Returning.
