Pool Heater
Works perfect. Bought to heat up a 8ft stock tank pool. It will turn 700 gallons into a 100 degree hot tub.

Extremely happy
Performing admirably. I don’t think you can go wrong with this. The building flow detector is awesome.

The terminal block is way too small.
I have had this working for a few weeks. It heats ok. Takes my 600 gallon tub about 8 hours to heat up from 50*F to 104 *F. The 9kw requires number 6. The big problem I had was connecting the 6 gage wires to the terminal block in the unit. The terminal block is way too small for number 6 stranded wire. Major hassel.

Lasted half a season on stock tank pool
Worked perfectly for a stock tank pool for a few hours each day over a couple months. Now it just trips the GFCI breaker every time you go turn it on due to a shorted element. I didn’t expect it to last a lifetime but definitely expected at least a year with as little as this product was used.

Works great till it doesn't
Wired the 9kw heater up to a 50A outlet on a GCFI breaker. Used a 50A extension cord and chopped the male end to expose the wires. Pretty easy. Initially the heat element wouldn't turn on, but it was bc the pump pressure was low bc the filter was dirty. It's worked great for 4 months since then, but today it's no longer working. The breaker trips even when the heater is off. I suspect there's some moisture somewhere causing a ground fault. I threw a bunch of desiccant packets into the case. Hope it helps... It's 17F outside and worried the water may freeze in the pipes. Update: brought the heater inside, opened it up, and put a fan on it. Wired it back up a week later and still doesn't work. I paid too much money for it to break after 4 months. Edit: I got a refund from Amazon and bought another heater w/ an additional 2 yr protection plan in March 2025. I put 3 or 4 giant desiccant packs inside the housing this time and it lasted 13 months. Crapped out on me again. Same issue. I filed a claim w/ Asurion and they immediately emailed me a giftcard for $300. I'd like to buy a different heater but I can't find another 9kw unit and don't want to have to get a bigger breaker or a smaller unit. When it works, it does really well w/ my 800 gallon stock tank.

Start pump and water flow before turning unit in.
The unit seems to work well, but there was no operating instructions in the box or a referral to a web site.
