What an amazing light
The Orcatorch ZD710 zoomable dive light is a game-changer for underwater adventures! This light combines power, versatility, and ease of use in a sleek, durable package thatโs perfect for any dive. Its zoomable beam is fantasticโit lets you switch from a focused spot to a wide floodlight with just a simple adjustment. This feature alone makes it incredibly versatile, ideal for exploring everything from tight crevices to broad underwater landscapes. One of the most impressive aspects of the ZD710 is its brightness. With a powerful output that cuts through dark waters with ease, this light offers excellent visibility even in low-visibility conditions. The high-quality beam is both intense and evenly distributed, providing a clear view without hot spots. The build quality of the ZD710 is equally impressive. Itโs rugged, waterproof, and built to withstand the wear and tear of regular diving, giving you peace of mind knowing it wonโt let you down. The grip is ergonomic, and the controls are easy to operate even with gloves on. Battery life is also fantastic, ensuring itโll last through extended dives without a hitch. In summary, the Orcatorch ZD710 is an outstanding dive light, delivering top-tier performance with its adjustable zoom, impressive brightness, and solid construction. Itโs the perfect addition to any diverโs toolkit and truly enhances the underwater experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing light! Made for Divers!
I've been using the Orcatorch ZD710 for over 10 dives this week and it's fantastic. I typically carry a unadjustable light but the zoom on this thing is great for searching around the reef. You can dial it down to a tight spot to look into cracks and crevice allowing for easy spotting of life. The throw is ridiculous on high, it literally outran my visibility. The coolest thing for me was putting it on zoom during a night dive and scouting the reef at a long distance. The eyes of every shrimp, ray would glow and light up the ground. Battery life was great as I did two hour long dives back-to-back and didn't see any dimming at all. Additionally the batteries themselves charge via USB-C so I don't have to pack another charging device. It also came with a second battery if you forget to charge one you always have a backup. This light is made for divers in mind and truly an amazing light.

Compact, powerful, and affordable! Greatly exceed expectation.
As a diver who regularly uses primary corded lights like the tried and true Focus 2.0, I went into the OrcaTorch ZD710 mk2 with realistic expectations. Surprisingly it exceeded them. The first thing you notice is how much lighter and more compact the ZD710 mk2 is. Being fully handheld, itโs far less cumbersome on certain dives and when traveling. Built quality is nice and the zoom ring rotates smoothly with good resistance. The affordability also makes it an easy addition to any serious diverโs kit. Beam quality is where this light really stands out. The ZD710 mk2 has a noticeably tighter beam angle with a brighter, more defined hot spot than the Focus 2.0, which translates to excellent signaling and punchy visibility even in low vis environments. It obviously isnโt trying to replace your corded primary with a much larger or e/o battery for long deep cave penetrations. Instead, it excels as a great option for shorter cave dives, as a compact redundancy light source, and for the majority of real-world diving situations like most open water dives. Overall, OrcaTorch ZD710 mk2 is an outstanding option and an impressive piece of gear for the price.

Outstanding Dive Light
Very happy with this light, well-built and ergonomic. I have used it twice so far. One handed operation is intuitive and easy which is a must for me as I am usually carrying a camera rig with my other hand. Previous light was twist to turn on and was a hassle. Adjustable beam works well, I used it wide for sea grass and was able to zoom while looking in rocks. It provided plenty of light even with the morning sun and was spectacular when I went under a bridge. I like the storage case as it makes it easy to keep everything together. They provide two batteries which is great, I usually buy a second battery to have a spare. Battery life is good, I ran it on high power for almost two hours and had no issues. They provided a wrist tether, which is nice, but I attached it to a retractor as is my preference. Overall, a great light that I am very happy with and would purchase again. Happy Diving :)

Nice Output With Zoomable Beam
I was looking for a zoom dive flashlight. I needed long spot distance. The specs on this one stuck out with me. Having other Orca Torch products I did not hesitate with this one. The light came in on time with free delivery. I charged both batteries before testing. The high setting was impressive and ran without stepping down above water. The turbo was short bursts. The wide angle lit up my large back yard. Narrowing down to spot lit up a stop sign almost a half mile down my street. It came with the handy carry case and two 21700 batteries. The light operates off one 21700. These batteries have the charge port on them so no external charge port on the light. So far this light has exceeded my expectations , especially for the spot distance. The switch operation makes it simple to reach your desired output. So far this light has exceeded my expectations.

Perhaps the most versatile dive light I have ever used.
This is an absolutely spectacular dive light and would serve as a perfect primary for any diver. The battery life is respectable, and the fact that it includes two batteries is a huge bonus for long dive days. The housing is incredibly rugged; mine has already survived several hard hits and drops without issue. The standout feature is the adjustable zoom. It can flood an entire room or cave with light, or pinpoint a specific point of interest with ease. Additionally, the light is clearly designed with photographers in mind, as it provides a steady beam without the flickering or 'wave' effect often seen in underwater photos and video. While it isn't small, it isn't overly heavy either. Itโs highly customizable, featuring mounting points for a helmet or Goodman handle, plus a solid fixed ring on the back for a lanyard, bungee, or bolt snap. If I could only buy one light, this would be itโthe value for the price is unbeatable. It generates a little heat on land, but no more than any other high-powered light, and itโs completely unnoticeable once you're in the water.

Best light overall
After testing a lot of dive lights underwater, the ORCATORCH ZD710 Mark II quickly became my main light. The adjustable beam is honestly one of my favorite features because I can go from a super tight focused beam for low visibility, caves, or signaling, to a wide flood when filming marine life or exploring reefs. The build quality feels solid and reliable underwater, especially on deeper dives where you really want equipment you can trust. Battery life has been great so far, and the USB C charging makes traveling with it way easier. What I like the most is how versatile it feels underwater. One dive light that can adapt to different conditions without needing to swap setups constantly. Compact, powerful, and dependable. Definitely earned a permanent spot in my dive kit.

A fantastic upgrade to an already great light.
I had the original Orcatorch ZD710 (MK1), which a friend "borrowed" and never gave back, so I got this one as an upgrade/replacement. The last one was a solid light, but slightly flawed. This one resolves all of those flaws to make a near-perfect package. - The Mk1 had a strange and visible beam center - the Mk2 looks normal. - The Mk1 had the focusing lens exposed, and in the Mk2 it's behind a flat piece of protective glass (like most torches) - so less likely to get damaged. - The Mk1 felt a bit dim for the Lumen rating, and the Mk2 seems significantly brighter. - The Mk1 was a little diffuse, even on the narrowest setting, while the Mk2 goes even tighter for a very focused and sharp beam. The angle is even smaller the Z710! - I still light the adjustable beam focus - it's very versatile and useful in different situations. It's a little tight and will require two hands, but that's better IMO than sliding when you don't want it. - I like the included battery and USB-C charging - The build quality is great, and I expect it to last extremely well. - I really like the extra safety from the button locking and modes. - It feels great in the hand. If I were to nitpick, there are a few things I'd improve: - I still find it strange that some models open in the middle, and some open at the bottom. - I wish that the software could remember my preferred brightness settings and use that, instead of having to cycle through them all to turn on/off. But those are pretty minor, and it's hard to really fault it for these things. I don't at all regret getting this one, and I won't be letting anyone take this one off of me too soon.

Great service from Outdoor Equipment Experts
Purchased the Orcatorch ZD 710 MK2 light for a dive trip to Vancouver island in August of this year. The switch on the light failed after 9 dives, unfortunate but stuff happens. I contacted Ashley of Outdoor Equipment Experts and Ashley arranged to have the light replaced no charge. I received the replacement on October 14th and just got in the water with it yesterday. Light worked great, very bright and the adjustable beam makes it very versatile under water. This light made my backup light look dull. Thank you Ashley for the great service

Great buy
Torch is excellent. Bright enough to shine to 3-4m comfortably to have a look from the surface. Then easy to adjust the light to suit when down in cracks.

Full of Compromises
I wanted an adjustable beam for my dives and paid a premium for this light. I also liked the 21700 battery with built-in USB charging, which can help in some remote situations. As with all Oractorches, the whole package has a premium feel. As expected, the wider openings work well, but the point beam is ugly and distracting. It is square-shaped, clearly showing 4 LED lights, their separations, dirt particles, and imperfections. The beam has a very pronounced yellowish hue at the edges, becoming more distracting as the beam narrows. Also, I didn't like the in-between size of this flashlight. It fits nicely in the hand but is too big for a pocket and small for a Goodman's handle. It's too early to tell, but the zoom mechanism appears short-lasting with many immersions, salt, and sand. Consider carrying two fixed lights instead of ZD710.
