I have a lot of hair, so my biggest concern with these bars was that I'd go through them too quickly, especially when I opened them and saw how small the bars really are. Some bars I've gotten in the past were way too melty and dissolved easily. I'm pleased that these seem more solid. A little bit goes a lot farther than expected, while still leaving my hair feeling cleaner and less weighed down than my previous bottled shampoo.Also when I first opened the package the smell was almost overwhelming (though pleasant), but in the shower and once rinsed out of hair, the scent is fantastic and not too strong.Overall I'm quite happy I gave these bars a chance.Update: Still so happy with these. They leave my hair clean but not stripped. They last forever. It was difficult for me not to scoff at the price of $10 a bar (and a small bar, at that) and I was skeptical about whether they would be worth the cost. I'm actually *saving* money not having to buy bottled shampoo. Part of the reason why is that I don't have to wash my hair every single day anymore because it doesn't get greasy a day after washing it. That said, I lather generously when I do use it, and the bars still last a very long time. I'm finding that they last about 2 months each for me. Considering they also eliminate the plastic bottle and the inefficiency of shipping a liquid product, I'll admit they're worth the price.

These are the best! They smell wonderful. They lather up amazingly. My hair gets squeaky clean. Leaves my hair soft and shiny! I've been using this brand for 6 months. My hair stylist says my hair is very healthy and in very good condition. My hair hangs between 10 - 12 inches past my shoulders.Very happy with this shampoo bar and with the seller for making such a great product! Will continue buying!

My husband and I both like this shampoo bar better than the several others we’ve tried. It really gets your hair clean, no greasy or oily patches left behind like other kinds. It dries nicely between uses, so you really get your monies worth, it doesn’t end up a gooey lump after a few uses. One bar lasts us about a month, he has short hair and showers daily, I have shoulder length hair and wash it every 2-3, to give you an idea as to how long these will last you. We’ve only used the lime and coconut, but it’s a nice scent, fresh and mild, not like some harshly scented shampoos. I’ve recommended this bar to lots of friends and family, we like it a lot!

PROS:1. The Sunkissed shampoo bar smells fresh and amazing, like you’re actually holding a ripe orange. It’s not a chemical smell either, it smells natural.2. It’s eco friendly!3. Once you’ve used it a few times it begins to sud well and it becomes really fun to wash your hair.4. It takes a bit of extra time, but I’m able to get all of my very long/thick hair clean and shiny.5. Your hair smells great for a long while after using it.6. I’ve used the bar as regular body soap before in a pinch. It doesn’t burn my skin at all, or cause any kind of irritation. Impressive, as I have very sensitive skin!7. I looked into the, “Children’s Home” charity on the box. After some research, CICM seems to be doing very important things to improve children’s lives in India!CONS:1. The shampoo definitely burns when it gets into your eyes. It stings, so I don’t recommend it for young kids, infants, or people with sensitive eyes.2. It’s a bit expensively priced for what you get. The bars should be a little larger.Overall, I think it’s a unique, great smelling shampoo. If you aren’t on a budget, and just want to try an environmentally conscious option, it might be fun to check out!

I bought a start-up package of 2 shampoo bars and a conditioner bar. Was very impressed with both products, but feel the conditioner bar is unnecessary, so decided to only refill the shampoo bars. Happy they come in a paper package and not wrapped in plastic! These bars have a faint, nice smell, makes a great lather, cleans hair and leaves it nice and shiny. And they last FOREVER! I wash my hair every day and I am just at the end of my first bar after almost 5 months of use... Thanks for making a great product!!!

I really like the shampoo bars! They smell nice and my hair is much less frizzy on the ends than with regular shampoo. I gave three stars because the packaging was a problem. The bars were in the product box, then mailed in a shipping envelope. The product box was completely smashed and the shampoo bars were all laying loose in the shipping envelope. This has happened twice now. These items should probably be shipped in a box as opposed to an envelope.

I absolutely love these shampoo bars! The So Sumptuous scent is the best scent I've ever smelled in a shampoo bar before, and possibly any other soap product. It lathers great, doesn't leave any residue, makes my hair feel healthier, and allows me to wash my hair less times per week than regular shampoo! It allows my natural curl pattern more than regular shampoos. I also use it as an all over body soap, and it makes my skin feel so soft, with no residue! I've purchased these bars several times, and I will keep buying them! Highly recommend this company and these bars! :)

This is my second time ordering these shampoo bars. I was very skeptical about the idea of a shampoo bar, but I will never go back. The lather and scent is great and leaves my hair moisturized and soft (when used with the conditioning bar). I'm giving them as gifts to friends now. I will say they are awesome to travel with as they need not go in a quart sized travel bag. Plus they last much longer than a bottle of shampoo. The packaging is all cardboard and paper so it seems to be more sustainable than a bottle of shampoo. I have used the lime coconut scent and have had many compliments on the scent. I do color my hair every 6 weeks and it has not affected the color any more than my old shampoo.
