If Albert Einstine was alive today even he would have trouble in putting these togetherYou have to use a useless cheap Allen key to tighten the screws into threaded poles, you could have made it easier by supplying poles with threads in them !! some of mine were never fittedBought 2 should have thrown the second one away

Putting it together is a two people job and potentially some better tools are needed. Some of the components are only ever going to survive being put together once, so if you need to undo something be careful. It would be helpful if all parts are marked with stickers as to which part it is. The parts that were rather difficult to identify were not marked, leading to some confusion. Once it is put together it is nice and does the trick and now makes a nice little herb garden and for the price I didn't expect it to be something out of the Kew Garden selection :)

Great compact planter for veggies, though not that easy to assemble and need about 3 pairs of hands to do, though once done and redone and then re-done again as it wasn’t aligned despite meticulously following the instructions, it actually looks really well and is quite sturdy for something so tricky to put together that nearly ended up flung over the fence when I couldn’t get it right. If you’ve got patience to work out the instructions and out this together then it’s well worth buying.

Looked great and arrived on time. Has instructions but parts are not labelled and one part does not have screw fixing in end. so far have not managed to build it, tried twice and just end up with bits not fitting as does not make a rectangle, Hoping my son will have better luck.

I can’t believe how difficult I found this to build partly as pictured item is different to my build instructions. Done a bit of a Heath Robinson and cobbled it together, but it’s not great. Not all pieces were marked and pieces were mentioned in the build instructions that weren’t in the contents list. The only saving grace was the fabulous service from Clifford James when my planter arrived with some bits missing- many thanks to them for that.

Looks good hard to follow instructions

This item was terrible. Parts didn’t fit. It wasn’t lime it was black. Poor quality. Binned after spending to much of my life trying to build.

Appears sturdy once built. Certainly not produced to tight tolerances, had two screws that were just never going to line up no matter what I did. Took me 90 mins from start to finish, on my own, 58 year old female. Construction was handicapped, as others have mentioned, by the absence of some parts mentioned in the instructions, some parts weren't labelled. Luckily I spent my childhood playing with Meccano...
