Don't risk buying this. Caused a fire in my kitchen
Don't risk buying this toaster. This is one of the most expensive and the first time I used it, it caused a fire in my kitchen. The auto pop up mechanism dis not work and caused a fire. Thank fully I had a fire extinguisher at hand and was able to get it in control. This was one of the most expensive toasters on Amazon and now I have no way to return it.

Plain toast
This is an average basic toaster. Good for the money works well and has a bagel setting. Not thrilled with it, but it was bought in an emergency to have a toaster where we were going. Serves its purpose. Would not buy another one. I like bells and whistles.

Dead on arrival. Does not lock.
Failure directly out of the box. I'll update if the second one they're sending me works, but at this time, I cannot recommend anyone buys this thing. Edit: So, it's been a few weeks with replacement, and it has been working well. The bagel mode is pretty decent overall, it's not very wide which is kinda disappointing with the shape of it honestly. Like, why flare it out if you're not going to utilize the extra space? At the end of the day, it toasts my bread, sometimes burns my buns in weird places due to the narrowness of it though. It doesn't work poor enough to give it three stars, but not anywhere near good enough to get five stars. At most, it deserves 3.75 stars out of five.

Uneven toasting
Nice looking. Easy to access crumb tray. I like the defrost and cancel features. The reason I ordered a new toaster was because the old one toasted unevenly. This one did that right away. The toast is light on one side and dark (almost burnt) on the other.

Burns one side more
Works great! My husband and I like it really well. Only problem is after the first use one side of the bread is more brown than the other but other than that I’m really glad I bought it.

A common kitched necessity.
I'v had and used this toaster for a month or so and I couldn't be happier with it. It works much better than my last one and I like the appearance better also. AND, the price was more then right.
