Antakya

Antakya has been played repeatedly since it arrived. I generally don't like fusions but this blend of Turkish themes with European jazz is wonderful, mellow and atmospheric.Quadro Nuevo like good wine are maturing with every new collection. There is something deeply humane about their music and this new disc is among their best, sinuous and rythmic. Like aural chocolate or the best lakoum.

I didn't realise this was just an uninspired soundtrack recording & the notes were in a foreign language, The pressing was fine, the content I found boring & repetitive but well recorded.
