Trying again
When I set the resin to cure, it was perfectly flat. I had never done an ash tray this small or this deep before. I was excited to see how it turned out. I checked it when I woke up after about six or seven hours and it completely bubbled and frothed over and now looks like unicorn poop. I attempted to loosen the sides of the mold and they didn't come off so I ended up going to work and came back and try it again. It took a while to chip away the excess resin and about 30% of the mold had cured right in with it. The middle pooped out but the bottoms stuck to the mold. I'm assuming it bubbled over and flowed so much because of the amount of epoxy poured at once caused it to cure faster and heat up. Some similar issues are reported in the reviews so I'm going to order another one and try again. This time pouring half full then curing and pouring the other half.

Perfect !
Thick and sturdy mold! Heavy duty type. Very good quality and I love it! I have made one ashtray already and the geometric shape of it is nice! I need more practice, my epoxy resin has too many bubbles and the skeleton leaves I put in trapped the bubbles from rising up and out. Oh well, I will keep trying. The mold is perfect and this company must be a good ine with high quality silicone etc.

Poor silicone quality , ripped on the first use 😫
Finally got a chance to use this ashtray mold. with the first pour it ripped and tore throughout the whole demolding process, literally panicked the whole time. After needing an extra pair of hands to get my cast free, I'm left with this chewed up cruddy mold. I'm so bummed, my resin cast has bits of silicone fused to it. I have never sanded silicone off a resin piece because I have never had to, looks like I'm gonna have to learn because I can't throw that much resin in the trash. And no I didn't burn it and used multiple pours, so that wasn't the issue. Now I have an ashtray order and no mold. So hopefully the people selling this product read these messages and fix the issue, because if it wasn't for the silicone sticking, this product would be great, it's hard to find them at this large size, price, and quick shipping.

Do not buy!!!!!!
If I could give this stupid mold zero stars I would. Got to use this piece of crap once before it absolutely fell apart when demolding. Took over a month to get this product and it’s a literal trash. Will not buy from this seller again. I recommend to all the people on the fence about getting this mold to save your money and your time!!! Do not buy this garbage!! Your better off ordering something from Etsy.

Silicone shredded.
Unfortunately this product only lasted one resin pour. Not sure if it was the quality of the silicone, but it shredded and stuck to the cured resin. I know sometimes this happens when you over heat or torch silicone molds, but I was extra careful about this. I will probably order another mold just to be sure. But yeah kinda bummed.

Not the right size
It specifically says in the title, 6.3" heart. It's barely 5"wide. So that is definently a let down and not a correct description of what you will be getting. I was expecting something quite larger.

Mold stuck to finished product. Ripped.
I finally got around to using this mold. I was so excited! Its sturdy, its thick, its awesome... until you attempt to remove the resin from it. The mold stuck to the ashtray in various spots. I ended up having to break the mold (it was ripping anyways) to get the ashtray out. I'm so upset. I have no idea how to remove the silicone from the piece...

This Mold is LARGE
The media could not be loaded.  Honestly I didn’t know it was this big. I guess I didn’t read the description. Either way, you get what you pay for. I am not disappointed. Mold is so sturdy and works like a charm. Easy to use. Beautiful. Leaves a wonderful pattern on the ashtray once the resin cures.
