Like tanks
I have many traxxas vehicles and the Xmaxx is a tank and almost bullet proof.I have never ever broke anything in the 6s other than a rear an arm and that was due to hitting a sprinkler head at full speed on the back tire.I have videos of me jumping this vehicle off of roof of the houses. I've took it to Galveston and jump the seawall I even had so much salt due to the ocean water that the bearings locked up and the vehicle wouldn't move I put a new bearing kit and drove it the same day I installed them. It is indestructible for whoever says they are breaking them they're full of it.The 8s is the same chassis but the power difference is unbelievable. Due to the strength of the 8S I have had bad luck with the tire sticking to the wheels so extra glued them. But they are unbreakable unless you get ran over by a actual vehicle lol other than that their tanks I will continue to buy these if I ever have to but being that they don't break it would only be because I wanted a new one lol. Buy with confidence

Didn't last a day
The plastics on the X-Maxx I received were super brittle. I don't know if I got a bad batch, 30F degree weather makes that big of a difference, or what. But I barely jumped it and every time it landed a shower of broken plastic bits came shooting off of the car. I never crashed it and it always landed on wheels.I contacted Traxxas support to report the issue. The responded with a pretty nasty message about how they know the strength of their cars and it is not brittle. However, they did offer to replace all the broken parts even though they are not normally covered by warranty. I'm currently waiting for warmer weather to re-test. In the meantime, I've been sending my MT10 to the moon and it isn't exploding on impact. Even in this cold.

Quality is not the best
Motor and esc are fried right out of the box. Will not be buying another Traxxas car.
