Works pretty much as expected; you can beat yourself or beat up someone else's aching muscles. The handle's at a good length to get some torque going and still maintain control, so design seems good. Durability feels good. It's a very hearty and sound thud whenever I whack away at my back and I don't feel any shifting or play in the hammer.It's really a simple thing, but I guess what really sells it is the colors. Lots of massage stuff are pretty bland in the cosmetic department but these add a bit of flair to the experience. They sort of double as decorations if you want to be lazy and just leave them on a table or something.

I got those massager hammer for my parents. They love those hammer with its softness and it has the smell of Artemisia argyi. I think the hammer top inserts probably filled with these herbs. The only ask from them is they wish the handle can be a bit longer so that they can use this for their back. Other than that, it's a robust gadget to have. Recommended.
