Nature withdraws underground, my fertile heart is captured below. The year turns to dark and cold, I contemplate the mysteries of life. All is held in patterns of potential, I dream of my rising to come… Words & image to M.Maiden 2014 Hand signed A4 PRINT of my original mixed media artwork, a dark surreal depiction of the nature goddess Persephone in her underworld phase, personifying the barrenness of winter. The verse above I wrote to accompany the image is printed small underneath the image (see the frame mock-up for layout guide). Watermarks do not appear on actual prints. Frame mock-up image is only to indicate what this print could look like framed - frame is NOT included. A4 size - will fit any standard A4 frame. Print has approx 1 inch / 2.5 cm white border. Printed on good quality heavy paper using digital home printing. All prints are quality checked and use archival inks, though as with any artwork display in direct sunlight is not recommended. Card backed, cellophane wrapped and posted in a card backed envelope. Thanks for looking at my item.
