Piksters Power Pikster - Brings Sonic Powered interdental Cleaning to Your Interdental Brush

I hesitated before buying this due to the negative reviews. However as someone who finds interdental brushing incredibly tedious to the extent I'd run out of patience with it, I decided to try this. Unfortunately as others have mentioned, the charging light would not come on. I contacted the seller and they advised me to contact Piksters direct. Upon doing that, Piksters could not have been more helpful. Once I'd provided proof of purchase, they sent me a replacement, checking it charged before sending it. I've been using it for a week or so now and it's made a significant difference to my dental routine; I enjoy using this and no longer find it tedious. Others have reported that the pikster comes out of the head, if a little more pressure is required, there is plenty of room to grip the pikster with your fingers to avoid that happening. I am glad I persevered in getting this and I do recommend it.

Ive been a fan of Picksters for a few years now as they're far better than other interdetal brushes. This is great for the price and it has encouraged me to 'floss' more (I hate regular floss). I use the smallest, pink, sticks and they get in between most of my teeth at the gum line, but I can't get between my teeth, if that makes sense. My mouth definitely feels cleaner after using this. I find it quite time consuming though, it probably takes about 3-5 minutes to floss all around my teeth.

I was do disappointed when I opened the box and realised how flimsy this is. Definely not what i was expecting for this price. The pik slides into place but there is no mechanism to hold it there so it comes out when you pull the brush back from between your teeth. This means you then have to hold the brush in place and makes the Power Pik useless.

I hesitated over buying this because I was really looking for a Connect handle, but you can't seem to get these in the UK (although I've since discovered that a little extension handle comes free with the Piksters pack of 40). I thought the idea of a powered interdental brush was a bit daft, to be honest. However I'm just so pleased with this little gadget, and am so glad I bought it! As well as coming with a variety pack of Piksters brushes, so you can try out different sizes, it also has a lid and toothbrush attachment, so you can use it for travelling. Plus it comes with a USB charging lead, which is particularly handy as it's the same connection as my phone and Kindle. :-) It's so easy to use, feels really pleasant against your gums and leaves your teeth feeling really clean. I highly recommend this product.

Beware, this is not an ultrasonic brush but a vibrating motor. I really doubt that the vibrations make any difference to the effectiveness of brushing between the teeth. However, I am a great fan of Piksters as the best and most cost effective way for interdental hygiene and these little handles do make them feel like something is happening. The only problem is that if you use more than one size of brush then it is a pain to re-insert them in the friction holder as there are slight size differences in the handles and so the smaller ones fall out after being expanded by a larger handle. I now have three holders, each for a different size brush. I have no idea why I keep using it because it does not clean any better than just using the brush - but I do! If Piksters made an ultrasonic handle to hold their brushes - then that would make a difference!

I was looking for something easy to clean between my teeth! This really does the job, I don't know why I didn't purchase one before. It really is easy to use,and has a built in timer. I found that on times the brush would loosen, I overcome this by wrapping a little cling film around the brush handle before pushing into the holder, it works a treat. Really pleased with it, would recommend it instead of using floss and manual brush.

Price too high

If like me you do anything to keep the dentist out of work, this is really worth trying. I know some people have said that the brush falls out but so far this has not been the case for me. easy to use and certainly helps with the cleaning. great value for the money

I am SO PLEASED with this product. I started using interdental brushes a few months ago, after a couple “bad” checkups despite regular brushing and daily flossing. The hygienist suggested trying interdental brushes and provided a sample brush (NOT Pikster). I found it very difficult to use; I also found that the wire became weak and bent after only a few uses. I checked into some other brands and eventually discovered Piksters. Any interdental brush wire is going to wear out; that is just the nature of the design, but I have found Piksters to be the best. I can usually use a Pikster brush for a good one to two weeks before the wire fails. Because I was so pleased with the brushes, I decided to give the Power Pikster a try. I like it very much and definitely recommend it. Be aware that there is a learning curve. For the first week or two, I had to allow extra time in the morning as I learned to use this tool, but now it is a quick and easy part of my morning routine. The vibration definitely makes the brush more effective and easier to insert between teeth (at least in my experience). It is easy to put the brushes into the handle and it is easy to recharge the Power Pikster, using the USB cable supplied. I use it with the Piksters’ Kinks brushes for my back teeth and their straight brushes for the front. I must acknowledge that there is a problem using the smallest brushes (size 1 and below) with the Power Pikster. The small brushes are easy to insert, but unfortunately they also easily pull out of the handle. Again, this ONLY happens with the very small brushes, so will only affect those who, like me, have some very tight spaces between teeth. I contacted the Piksters company to ask about this, and received a quick, friendly, and helpful response. They are aware of the problem and are working on an adaptor to use with the small brushes. I do not know whether the adaptor will be offered on Amazon, but it may be, if enough people express interest. They were kind enough to send me two adaptors to try, and both work BEAUTIFULLY. I have not had a single brush pull out of the handle when using an adaptor. Even with the issue with the smallest brush sizes (which the company is already addressing), I heartily recommend both the Power Pikster and Pikster interdental brushes.

Have used Piksters (or their generic equivalent) for several years now, but this powered Pikster makes it so much easier. My teeth have never been cleaner!

Cant comment just got it needs to charge for 10 hours cannot test is it working. when i press button nothing happens

Mine arrived yesterday and I've already ordered two move (one for my travel bag and one for my desk at work). I love this thing so much! As someone who has endured bone loss and gum disease, major reparative surgery, and now visits every 3mos to ensure I am maintaining what is left, this will be a huge help! I already use a WaterPik and Sonicare toothbrush. Those are great but this get IN the crevices and makes my mouth feel SO clean and fresh. My husband already thinks I have developed an addiction (and he might be correct on that.. but I'll proudly own that!)
