Does what it says, and does it well...
UPDATE: THE REVIEW BELOW IS **NOT** FOR THE 10-PORT USB3 HUB, BUT FOR THE 7-PORT USB2 HUB. I don't know how it got linked to the 10-port device.I needed a USB hub with as many ports as possible that could be DIN-rail mounted to reduce the clutter on my work-bench. This is ideal, and would work well in a more "industrial" environment too, I'm sure.It has screw-holes for secure USB attachment, both on the 7 A connectors and on the B connector that connects the device to the PC. The A-B cable for this is included and has screw connectors at both ends, although the added width of the A connector at the PC does make it a tight fit on my laptop and in fact overlaps the adjacent USB connection - but then with a 7-port hub that's not a major problem!Only problem is that at the moment I am having trouble finding suitable screw-connector USB cables for the 7 A ports. Normal USB connectors work just fine and are quite a firm fit, but I would prefer the added security of the screw-connectors - USB is not very physically secure and it's a pain when a USB serial adapter cable comes loose!I have almost filled the available ports, so I may need another, and if so I will buy a further one of these.Overall - an excellent product.

Very high quality hub
Very pleased with this purchase. The hub is solidly built and I have powered 7 USB items by DC with no problems whatsoever. It's for niche applications but if you do need it then it's fantastic.

Perfect for my telescope stuff and accessories
Purchased to connect my telescope and 3 other accessories to a single 20m usb run into my house. Powered it with a 12v power supply, along with all the other equipment, and has worked flawlessly. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Wish I'd purchased the 7 port initially as got the 4 port just to test but as the 4 port has worked so well will be purchasing the 7 port and will definitely find use for the 4 port somewhere around the house.
