I needed bloomers for my hot pink & black Day of the Dead, Carmen Miranda-style, girly skull & cross-bones outfit. I bought both hot pink and black, since I wasn't sure which color would be a better match. Upon receipt, I tried the hot pink one first. It's true to color and really complements the outfit! I'll be able to use it under dance skirts, too. It would be perfect for a square dance skirt. I'm returning the black one, unopened, only because I don't need the second pair of bloomers. For size 8-10. Medium was perfect fit. I think a size 6-8 would also be happy with the fit, too. (That's what I love about the Amazon experience...when opting to buy 'free returns' merchandise, you can try more than one before committing to the purchase..Yay!) Also, they appear well-made. The lace ruffles are very attractive and flattering. These bloomers will be used repeatedly. I'm glad I bought them.
