It has a strong scent to run off the mice but that's what I wanted

Good rodent repellent.

This is a ridiculous product that’s entirely useless! First, they’re a lot of work preparing to use them. First you have to cut them out of the INDIVIDUAL cellophane wrappers. Then put them in each little cotton bag that’s stuffed into the box. Then place them wherever you have mice. The mice simply ignore them. They remain untouched but the mice still run rampant. What a joke!

Smells like it should work and it's in pellet form so it's easy to use.

I honestly wasn't sure how to rate these..... I am glad to not be using harmful chemicals to keep rodents out of my backyard, but wow, the smell of these is.....(insert masked emoji face here) The description says peppermint but maybe they were referring to the COLOR... like "peppermint green," which is accurate lol. However the smell? Yikes. The odor is extreme mothballs mixed with a dash of some type of unpleasant.... I don't know. I would not describe it as anywhere near fresh peppermint... It's pretty intense. I would NOT want this odor inside my house or inside my vehicle. My kids and I could barely stand it outside; I make sure to close my backyard door immediately so that the smell doesn't enter my home. With all that said, though, my backyard is critter free!! The odor is obviously unbearable for them (critters) and I can certainly see why. Using gloves to protect my hands from the smell, I placed the little hockey-puck sized pellets under my outdoor furniture and in some spaces around the yard where I could see activity. Thank goodness there is a breeze that comes through, otherwise relaxing outside would be tough. My final statement is that these work to repel rodents, but I absolutely do NOT recommend them for inside a living space, a vehicle, a dog house, or inside any place where another living thing would be spending a significant amount of time. **Sep 2025 Update: The odor dissipates after a couple of months, it gets less noticeable as time progresses. Not sure if I would buy again... the smell of these things is nearly unbearable.

Works very well no bad smell

The description of this item says it is natural and safe with peppermint oil added, so you would expect it to have a peppermint odor at least. I'm giving this product a two-star rating because it is just moth balls! Dyed green and stinking of moth balls. I don't think of mothballs as being natural or safe for children and pets when the smell makes them sick. Needless to say, I'm disappointed with the product. As to whether this product repels mice and spiders... well, after just one night of leaving a couple in my garage, the smell sure made me want to leave.

It has a strong smell, seems to keep all Critters away. I'll find out the longer-term effect as time goes on.
