Okay, but had so much potential...
I love Sonic, I wouldn't call myself the most hardcore fan, especially since I kind of hate the games (I'm just really bad at playing platformers okay!) but I thoroughly enjoy much of the franchise's extended media like the Sonic X cartoon I grew up with and I love the first two movies. Knuckles is my second favorite character behind Shadow, so I was pretty excited for his show. What we got however, is something... hard to quantify. This show is certainly a far cry from what a lot of fans, myself included, wanted it to be. We had very high hopes for something that would dive at least a little bit more into the deeper Sonic lore surrounding Knuckles, but instead we get what is essentially, the Wade Whipple show guest starring Knuckles the Echidna. And while I was disappointed at first, I have now watched the show through twice, and I don't hate it. There are a few cringe bits, but I do laugh at some of the jokes, the music selection is fantastic, the CGI is just as high quality as the movies, and Idris Elba is always a joy to hear as Knuckles. I think it would have benefited from a few of the plot points being rearranged, like the robot fight at the end kind of feels tacked on and out of left field, when it could have had better build up from something that happened early on in episode two. Like they could have had the bowling stuff be resolved like four episodes in and then had the last two episodes dedicated to beating up the somewhat under-utilized bad guys for the big action filled climax. But it is what it is.As a collector I am glad it got released on 4K as I love the 4K format, and on the shelf it matches my 4Ks of the movies! The 4K presentation is solid, it does provide a slightly better viewing experience than streaming it off Paramount+. Some special features are included on the disc, though the only one really worth it is the gag reel, the others are just several very short clips that could have been edited into just a single featurette. So overall, I would say this show is worth giving a watch if you love Knuckles, but I also think that if you don't like the Wade character in the movies, you probably wouldn't like this show all that much. Bring on the Shadow show... But please do more with it!

Great Series
Great series, but when purchasing this movie...I had thought, just that! This was a movie, but it was just the series. We had already watched the series, thinkin this was an actual movie. The Series was great though, we are excited to see the next Sonic Movie.
