We usually grind our own beans but this is really great to bring with vacation--it is an espresso grind, we prefer this grind because it is more universal. My favorite thing about this coffee is the lack of acidity & amazing flavor. In fact, we now send it as gifts for people who are not lucky enough to live close to this roaster. Enjoy!

There are lots of small roastery brands to be found in grocery stores, and unfortunately a lot of them taste alike. Caffe Appassionato coffees, in particular this roast, are different—unusually smooth.Considering what coffee tends to cost in the grocery stores these days, this several-package pricing is hard to turn down.

I know the quality of Caffe Appassionato coffee does has fresh aroma with good, flavored coffee. The one I received must have been outdated. It was bitter and had awful taste.

I love how smooth this coffee is -- with its bold flavor. However, the grind I get here on Amazon is very fine, like for espresso or maybe French press, and has a tendency to make a mess in my drip coffee maker. Wish they offered a coarser grind here like they do on their website (for 50% more money).

It’s the best tasting coffee I’ve found and also that doesn’t affect my sensitive stomach to acid . It has the lowest acid content of any coffee I’ve tried.

Caffee Appassionato is my absolute favorite coffee. I found it several years ago on a trip to Seattle and I loved it. It is a mellow, LOW ACID blend. I love coffee but I generally can't handle the really acidy blends from other brands. I enjoy this one and also some of the others like Northwest Blend. I love that I can now buy this via Amazon Prime, the free shipping beats mail ordering the coffee from the supplier. Give it a try!
