Hitster is a perfect game for music lovers. It’s been a hit with both family and friends, and everyone enjoys playing. You do need a Spotify account to play, which is important to know. The game is easy to set up and great for travel since it doesn’t take up much space. What I love most is that the whole point is guessing songs from all eras. It brings different age groups together, sparks conversations, and creates such a fun atmosphere. You end up playing great music, laughing, and talking about memories connected to the songs. It turns into more than just a game, it creates a really nice ambiance. Highly recommended!

My current favorite family game. It is shockingly easy to play. It takes roughly 3 min to explain rules of the game to newbies, and about 1 min to pick it up, which is SO NICE. With a little creativity, you could easily play as a group in the car. The earliest song we’ve heard was from 1920, and it takes you right up to around 2023. There are different genres, including country, pop, alternative, rock ' n ' roll, heavy metal, etc. The game seems more focused on what one might find on the “radio”, so don't expect musical theater or Disney-type songs. That said, there are a lot more cards than I was expecting. Beware that there are a few “R-rated” songs with cussing/sexual content. It happens infrequently, but once in a while, a song plays that could be offensive to some. But one can easily take those cards out. The game can be both nostalgic and offer opportunities to share memories of songs from one’s youth/teen years with your kids. Yet, it's updated enough that your kids can share their memories from more recent songs. It's definitely exposed me to new music artists, which has expanded my musical repertoire. We don't use the tokens, but once the person whose turn it is has made their guess, the rest of the players go through their guesses for the release year, artist, and song name, just for fun and bragging rights. It is a great value, really worth the money, and just a really fun game!

This game is an excellent gift, easy to play, and great for all ages and the entire family. We have bought multiple as gifts. Highly recommend looking into expansion packs because once you buy the game and play all the cards you are going to want to keep playing!

This game is awesome and so much fun. You need to know your music to play this game but if you do you will really enjoy it. Issue. Twice I ordered this game and twice it was “lost in transit” ok the third time I ordered it I finally got it. Glad I did!

Absolutely love this game! It is fun engaging and perfect for any gathering. Once everyone understands how it works the energy just picks up and nobody wants to stop playing. It keeps everyone laughing and competing in the best way. It is easy to learn but still exciting every round which makes it great for both small groups and larger parties. Only wish there was a Jamaican version because that would take it to another level!!! Highly recommend for a fun night with friends or family.

Such a fun game for all music lovers. Really fun when you split people from the same generation onto different teams. Makes the game more fair for example one boomer one Gen X one millennial per team.
