A fresh deck is always a pleasure but a unique design is even more alluring.It has a steampunk feel to the designs. Machines and plant hybrids. Very interesting.Contains jokers.A bit dear but they are unique too.

These are playing cards, with intricate unique designs. I thought there was going to be something more to them, based on the description, instructions for a new card game, but they are just regular playing cards - albeit in a nice box and with unique illustrations. They're a standard pack, regular size.Perhaps a little pricey - but you are paying for the art, rather than a generic pack of cards. These are bound to get conversations flowing at the game table.

Lovely deck that have a great silk feel to them. The designs are beautiful and the printing finish is very high quality. For the price they are a brilliant addition to a collection. Kudos to the designers, excellent job!

These playing cards are fantastic blend of design and quality. Each card has art work that is visually engaging and the card quality is similar to Bicycle cards ( not sure if these are Bicycle?). At £23, it’s price select few people will be happy paying because of the value it brings to them.

As I was a magician in my former life, I've handled plenty of playing cards from manufacturers around the world.These rank up there with the very finest, even the tuck case has a premium satin finish feel with embossed detailing, I almost had a Patrick Bateman moment.They fan really nicely and spread easily with no sticking.The product description makes them sound like they'll end up a family heirloom, but (I'm not going to test this) one night of beer and poker and I think they'd be as ruined as any other cards.Also, you can't get away from that price (£23 at time of review) this isn't a particularly ridiculous price, some collectors edition cards are priced in the hundreds, but there's not really anything that sets these cards so far apart from an £8 deck of special or limited edition Bicycle cards that can be picked up today.For collectors they'd be a nice addition, for magicians, they're too unusual to not be viewed with suspicion and the tiny pips and strange art don't work well for the spectator to be able to identify them quickly in tricky lighting and I'm not convinced a serious poker player would play with anything but regular backed decks.Overall these are a lovely quality deck of cards but the price puts them into a category that they don't quite cut the mustard in.

These cards arrived in a cellophane wrap to keep them protected.From the second you lay eyes on the box you know that these are a cut above a standard deck. The box looks great, with a dark blue, silver and red design. Couple this with the Jack London quote inside and the pre-fold at the back which widens the access, so that the cards are easy to extract from the box, and you instantly get the sense that this is one special deck.The cards inside have a Steampunk vibe to their design with stunning illustrations for the picture cards and on the reverse. They slide around as if they are oiled, so smooth is the movement.These are definitely a pack for professional players or magicians!Hence the price of £23, at time of ordering. It's a hefty amount for a pack of cards and for most of us, who play cards casually a few times a year, not worth the price. However for collectors or serious card sharps (whether that's poker or magic) these are utterly stunning and swfin6a pack you'll covet.
