Orthodontic Elastic Bands can be worn either during the day or the night. For best results wear the band between the gap you wish to close for 12 hours a day - so during sleep is recommended. When you wake up in the morning remove the band and discard and repeat the process the following night. Depending on the severity of the gap, the time for gap closure can differ from person to person - it can be shorter or slightly longer - as a rough guideline this is usually 4 weeks
