Some one & two star reviewers don't know how to follow directions, or maybe don't even read the directions. They claim, "The holes are drilled wrong," or "I had to drill new holes." Possibly they didn't realize all five shelves are not identical. Three shelves go on the left side, and two on the right side. So obviously they will be drilled differently. When assembling the planter, you have to pay attention to details, and notice how the shelves will fit on the vertical support. Of course the two right shelves are drilled differently than the three left shelves! PROS: The planter is beautiful, and EASY to assemble. Just follow the clear and simple directions, and you'll be fine. When preparing your assembly, stack the three left shelves on one side, and the two right shelves on the other side of the vertical support, so you don't get the shelves mixed up. Some cute garden tools are included. Some reviewers say, "There are empty drill holes showing." Believe me, you are not going to notice empty screw holes. When you look at your beautiful planter, you will notice your beautiful plants, and any empty screw holes won't matter. CONS: It's true, the included allen head screws are cheaply made in China. The heads strip out easily. You have to be careful. I put a few drops of oil on the threads, for lubrication, so they could be screwed in more easily. I used a power drill, with an allen wrench drill bit, which saved a lot of time, and made assembly fun! I did strip a couple screw heads, but some extra screws are included, so it was no big deal. CONCLUSION: I almost didn't buy this beautiful bamboo planter shelf because of the negative reviews. I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and buy it. It is super nice! It's a great way to display plants, and a really nice addition to our home. I recommend you buy it! Enjoy!

I ordered this to lift my plants up closer to the window this winter so they could get more natural light. It arrived with all the parts. The parts were intact with no damage. It was easy to assemble by myself. Surprisingly it is sturdier than it looked in the photos. It holds all the plants with no trouble. However, in my opinion it is a bit top heavy when loaded up and could be easily knocked over due to the narrowness of it's footprint. I resolved this problem by putting a gallon of liquid plant food on the very bottom shelf. You can decide what you want to put on the bottom of yours, but I would recommend something heavy. All in all, I'm pleased with it. It looks great, does the job, and we get compliments on it when company comes.

It goes together fairly easily but I put the first shelf in the wrong location. I decided to leave it that way. It just changes the spacing between shelves. It looks nice and feels sturdy. It is lightweight too. After using it for several months, I have noticed that it is definitely turning black from the weather. Buyer beware when using outdoor. I am not surprised as moisture outside will always be an issue.

Edited to add (2024}- does actually mold Quite wobbly on the floor, so I got the idea to hang these up on my wall. I have 3 now. I'm actually pretty impressed with how much weight they can hold! I have a decent amount of plants of various sizes and weight on each stand, some platforms have multiple plants on them. So far, they've held up well. They do get some water damage, but nothing a bleach wipe can't take care of. Make sure you get the right kind of screws if you're going to be attaching them to the wall. I wouldn't trust them to not fall over if they're set on the floor! Overall, extremely easy and fast to put together. Very good-looking, too. Haven't found a single thing I dislike about them, aside from being unbalanced on the floor. I've had two of mine for about 2 years now, just got the 3rd a few months back.

This plant stand is displays my plants in an interesting way. It holds a fair amount of weight (each shelf can hold up to an 8” pot) and there is room for tall-ish plants as well. The slatted shelves allows light in to plants on lower shelves which also gives it a light and airy appearance that doesn’t overpower the plants. It’s slim so doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is a little wobbly, but sturdy enough. Overall, I’m very happy how my plants look on this shelf.

I chose this plant stand because I wanted something a little taller and narrower for my space. I was impressed with how well the parts were packaged, and they even threw in some extra goodies like some gardening tools and glove, all shown in my picture above. The plant stand was easy to put together, the color of the natural bamboo is really pretty and is consistent throughout the bamboo pieces which I like. Once I got the plant stand together which was pretty quick, I was impressed at how sturdy this piece is I didn’t expect that, and I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s such a sturdy piece especially since it’s more of a taller and narrower piece. I tried out my plant stand with various plants and I was happy that I could actually place a couple of heavier pieces at the top of the stand and the stand didn’t waver or move around. I have about 12 succulent plants in 4 inch terra-cotta pots, and I was able to fit 3 of my 4inch terra-cotta pots on each shelf if I chose to do that. I am going to buy a few more of these plant stands, and I hope that the seller starts to carry more varieties of plant stands. I’d write this 10-star if I could. Highly recommend!

The product is great and fits plastic pots well. The size is smaller than it appears in pictures but it's still a reasonable size that fits anywhere.
