Wonder: A Bear's Journey

I have long been a fan of Dean Crouser's art, so I was excited to hear that he was writing a children's book. This book does not disappoint. The illustrations are beautiful, and the simple, rhyming text is perfect for reading aloud to small children. I love that he asks questions that will stimulate their imagination, like, "If a bear had a boat, could he float to the sea?" The message is pure and simple - with no agenda. Highly recommend this book.

Highly recommend! The illustrations are beautiful and the writing/rhyming are perfect for a feel-good children’s book. I have a newborn and can’t wait for him to learn animals and other nature words from the paintings in this book. I’m buying more copies to give as gifts!

I liked the book a lot. The text was cute, the paintings well done and engaging. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had been printed on nicer paper. It is done on matte finished paper, almost like copier paper, so the illustrations don’t show up as nicely as they could have on better paper. I still like the book. I am 75 years old, and have this book to read to my young friends

The illustrations bring the story of Wonder to life. The book is full of hope which is exactly what we need right now. I will be buying more copies!
