Still trying to correctly set these up.
My DH had hopes that these aids would help him hear the tv a bit better so that we can turn the tv volume down before I go deaf. The devices charged very quickly. He has repeatedly followed all the instructions but can't get the settings just right. He said that these should be great for some people. He hasn't found the magic combination, but he hasn't stopped searching.

These Are A Good Set Of Hearing Amplifiers, The Sound Reprodution Is Decent...
Practically all of the Hearing Amplifier sellers on Amazon list somewhere in the description that they are selling Hearing Aids and in the very basic sense of the word they do aid in someone's hearing but they are definitely not true hearing aids. To me these should be listed as Hearing Amplifiers only and whatever hearing amplifiers you decide to purchase they are not true hearing aids but what most would consider as PSAP's (personal sound amplification products). These hearing amplifiers are sufficient for helping the elderly or hearing impaired with mild to somewhere below moderate hearing loss. True hearing aids amplify only certain frequencies based on your hearing profile or what's normally called an Audiogram where over the years you begin lacking the ability to hear certain sounds due to one reason or another, but PSAPs amplify all sounds equally so if you use these aids to assist you with your hearing loss just be sure to start your volume level at the lowest level possible that offers a benefit to your hearing because if you crank them up too loud it may sound good at first but you may, over time, lose what good hearing you have left...Actually this is where I usually state all of my Likes and Dislikes but to be honest, for the current price of just under $130, Leel has checked most of my boxes off that I consider necessary requirements to get someone with poor hearing back into the land of full sounds. Personally I like these small, barely noticeable, Behind The Ear (BTE) style of amplifier and the silver color to match my silver hair is especially appreciated. They've provided everything you will need to get started immediately out of the box to begin hearing and sharing in conversations, TV programs as well as other sounds that you have been unable to pick up on due to your low to moderate hearing loss. In their package you will find the charging case necessary to charge your amplifiers between usage (according to Leel these hearing amplifiers can be fully charged in just 2 hours and used for up to 40 hours), ear domes to fit practically any size ear canal you may have along with a cleaning brush, a USB Type C Charging Cable as well as the plug-in USB power adapter (which the vast majority of other suppliers on Amazon don't include with their amplifiers). I actually don't prefer amplifiers that are controlled with buttons or switches mounted on each of the hearing amplifiers but that sort of goes along with the lower priced amplifiers. With these you have a button for changing the programs modes, a button to increase and a button to decrease the volume levels along with a switch to turn them off and on (be sure that they are set to off prior to putting them back into their charging case for charging). My personal preference is for hearing amplifiers with more bells and whistles and that can be controlled via an App but with every improvement in technology you find an increase in cost so this pair makes a lot of sense for someone on a budget and wanting to get a decent pair of amplifiers so they can see the benefits of picking up sounds that may have been lost for a number of years. The sound reproduction on these are good but just not great, at times I picked up a slight tinny sound but that could be purely subjective, thus they may sound perfectly normal to others.Based on these being a good basic set of hearing amplifiers and at their current price I believe they warrant an Overall Rating of 5 Stars...
