Awesome EDC flashlight
I bought this light looking for an EDC dog walker, and I was not disappointed!First impressions out of the box were this is a well made, quality flashlight. Real nice knurling on the battery tube, well greased threads, tight fitting head and tail cap. It has a stainless steel bezel on the head which helps spread the force if the flashlight is dropped, it can also be used in a self defense situation. The tail switch acts as a mechanical lockout, and a soft press/hold actives the momentary mode. The sturdy metal side button is used to cycle through the modes...The modes group as such:first is low, 2nd click gives you medium, and 3rd click give you high. From any mode hold the side button for 2 seconds and you go into strobe, hold for a further 2 seconds and you activate "SOS". Click the side button again takes you back back to normal mode. To activate the battery check mode, hold the side button and click the tail switch... The side switch will flash green and then red to indicate the voltage of the battery. The flashlight comes with a rechargeable 2600mah 18650 battery, some spare o-rings, a spare rubber tail switch, a lanyard, and a belt pouch. On low mode this has a very useable spot for close work, and on high it opens up any space with a decent sized flood. The tint is somewhere between warm and cool, something close to 6000k I'd guess (or the best guess I can tell with my eye...). This has a good throw too close to 300m, so its awesome for spotting the dog when she runs off in front or lags behind me.To summarize, if you're looking for a good quality flash, with a good amount of throw, at a real decent price you won't go wrong getting this

Very nice compact torch
I'll say that now as I think it's important...I like torches with decent rechargeable batteries, not a fan of the AA or AAA lights as they just don't last long enough. The big problem with decent rechargeable batteries, like the 18650 used here, always used to be they needed a charger capable of working with them. The Litesam PS16 solves that little problem nicely by being USB rechargeable, you don't get a USB charger with the torch (just the micro USB cable) but I expect you probably have a few already...The torch is about the size of a large marker pen and feels quite nice in the hand, it shouldn't roll far if you put it down on something gently sloping. There is an easy to find tail switch to turn it on and off and a side switch to change between Low, medium and high power (plus a strobe and SOS flashing mode)Battery life stated in the manual is for a higher capacity battery than the one supplied but I still got a good 50 minutes on high power before I noticed the little warning LED flashing.I know some people like torches that tail stand, this one doesn't, not without a little help of something to prop it against.Using gloves the tail switch is easy to find but the side switch less so, so I have moved the very strong pocket clip to point to the switch which makes it much easier to find :-)Like the torch the supplied pouch and lanyard seem good quality but I've not had it long enough to really tell how durable they are.I'll be using it for night time dog walks and as a backup torch for one of my hobbies :-)Attached are photo's of the brightness at low, medium and a couple at high power.

Good bit of kit!
This really is a good bit of kit. Really bright and penetrating when you need it to be, but then subtle and subdued within a couple of presses of a button. Recharges quite quickly via usb lead. All in all, well worth the money!

A great budget option that doesnt feel like a budget option
This is my review of the Litesam PS11. It was provided to me by Litesam at a discount.Inside the box you will find the light (with included 18650 battery), a lanyard, a spare o-ring, a holster and a micro usb cable for charging. The flashlight is made of a high quality aircraft aluminium coated with deep chequering and grooves that really keep it locked in your hand. It is just under 6 inches long, 1.38 inches wide at the head and 1 inch wide at the tail. It weighs 136g excluding battery. The LED is a Cree XP-L and has a precise metal filmed reflector that allows for a max beam distance of 285m. The light is IPX8 and 2m impact rated. The light has 5 modes operated by a rubberised tail switch and an aluminium side button. The 5 modes are;High (1380 lumens for 1.5 hours)Medium (300 lumens for 3.8 hours)Low (30 lumens for 120 hours)Strobe (1380 lumens)SOS (1380 lumens). The light has an interesting low power indication system. If you hold the side switch down and click the side switch, the led under the side switch will blink in green and red. One green blink indicates 1v and one red blink indicates 0.1v. For example 3.8v is indicated by 3 green blinks and 8 red blinks. The pros;CheapWell madeRemovable strike bezelGreat battery indicator systemThe cons;. No firefly mode. Quite large for the amount of lumens it producesIn Conclusion the Litesam PS11 is a great light for LEOs, edc and hunting applications. It represents superb value for money at only £30.99 and Recommend it wholeheartedly.
