Looks good and does its job

I'm a bloke. I don't like messing with curtains. But these do keep the many curtains in my loft-style apartment looking tidy. The curtains are unlined IKEA-type, and fit easily into the 'arms' - I think the holdbacks would struggle with enormous interlined curtains. They are really easy to fit, and the screws can be accessed even with a bulky electric screwdriver. As someone noted, this means that if you ram flimsy curtains like mine all the way in, you will see at least one screw - see photo for how not to do it. So you need to be 'artistic' - see photo for how to do it. Sigh. It's like housetraining... for blokes. Anyways, I do recommend if you like 'the look'.

These are lovely if you want something that is subtle and doesnt take the attention away from your lovely curtains. Easy to fit

Only quibble is the scratches I found on both items. The brass is showing through on one of them. They are weighty and I only really needed one to hold back a voile curtain so it will do. I wanted a strong metal as the humidity is high where I will use it and plastic items and poor metal does not survive long. This should be OK

Much smaller than anticipated - please measure before ordering to not make the same mistake as us!Had they been larger they would have worked well. They had a smart finish and appeared to be of good build. Lightweight so they would be easy to install with pre drilled holes in the fastening in the back.

These look very good when in place. We think we must have been sent a Returned Item as one bag of screws was torn open and no screws or wall plugs and when fitted sat crooked on the wall. We were able to correct both issues, however it was a shame.
