No, it's bigger than the widemouth of the jar. I love this whisk, it's solid, quality and recommended.

I beleive from China but I didn't buy this item. I got the Teevea set of 3 wisks and I am sure made from same place, China. They are all good wisks with good prices . They are made incredibly well and sturdy!

can this be used to make bagels?

Think blending ingredients. Once the dough ingredients have been blended together into a mass with this tool, your hands must take over to perform the kneading. Any recipe for a bread that uses a poolish or biga or pre-ferment will benefit by you using this excellent whisk.
