KEENMen's Newport H2 Sandal

I hesitated to spend the extra…but now I’m glad I did!I don’t often submit reviews on Amazon, but these sandals are worth making an exception for: as soon as I took them out of the box the quality was apparent; and a few weeks on I have nothing but praise for them. They’re comfortable and well-made in every respect, and I’m finding them particularly good for cycling to work in the warm weather: the rubber toe protects against the kind of scratches and bumps you’d usually get with a open shoe, yet they’re light and easy to get on and off.I’ll be buying Keen products again.

The sandals are well made and comfortable. Their is some mess with their sizes though. The producer advises that this style runs 0.5 size smaller on their website. Yet, when I contacted their customer service I was told to buy my normal size (12 UK), which I did. It is fine as the length is concerned but it feels a bit tight on the top of the foot even when fully 'unlaced'. I strongly recommend to try the sandals in store before buying them when possible, which I could not because all retailers in London don't store sizes above 11 UK.

Good product and a repeat purchaser but be aware that you’ll probably need at least one size larger than usual as it has a narrow entry point across the instep.

Bought my first pair of keen sandals in New Zealand a few years ago and really liked them. So I've now bought a second pair!

KEEN is my fave sandal brand! My husband and I are both photographers and spend a lot of time outdoors for work dodging mild to extreme terrain/conditions. I've been wearing KEEN sandals for about 10 years and don't leave on assignment without them. Easy to slip on and off, no laces to tackle, strong sole and good comfort. They also wash very easy. I just got my husband his first pair of KEEN sandals on Amazon UK (after he resisted for as long, and the fact that we don't get them very easily in India) - he's worn them every single day! Work or not, yes, EVERY SINGLE DAY!

My first pair lasted for a great many miles - and let's face it, the summer of 2018 was about 8 months long, so they probably got the equivalent of 3 normal years wear - so I happily re-ordered when they started to fall apart.These are comfortable sandals, with the great advantage of toe-stubbing protection (worth twice the price for this alone) which dry quickly when they get wet.Sole grip is pretty good and they cope well with typical Lake District/Peak District walking. Certainly I find them superior to Merrell sandals.

I take UK size 7.5 tried three pairs totally unable to get the ankle strap over my foot !

I was so pleased when I got these sandals, roomy toe area and comfy fitted straight out the box. After 2 weeks of wearing the footbed that is allegedly an antibacterial surface, developed a very nasty smell, it can be removed by washing but I reckon they will need weekly or more washing. I'm so disappointed because they're such a lovely comfy sandal.

I've been wearing Keen's for a while. I like that they last a number of years and are very comfortable. This is my first time getting the Newport H2 but opted for these due to the larger sole and more comfort. I took these on a hike through the hills in the Dominican Republic that ended with jumping off a waterfall and they worked perfectly. Also wore them to the beach and while they did collect a lot of sand, they were great both in and out of the water. Worth the money.
