Love them but they are not absorbent enough to wipe down a counter color is beautiful, thick and very soft

Honestly I thought I would love them, but after washing / drying them. They shrunk almost half the size.. probably slightly bigger than half. So after shrinking I would say they are useless as papertowels. They aren’t very absorbent either. I do like that they are cotton, but won’t be using them for paper towels anymore considering I can’t wrap them as so. The photo attached is how big they are after washing, wish I would’ve taken a before picture to show you the huge different in size. Overpriced for sure.
