This is just what I needed to read my SD cards from any of my devices whether they be USB 2.0, microUSB or USB C. The device works well to allow me to read my SD cards on a Note 8 with USB C or my Surface with standard USB. I did have a problem with the device becoming non-functional after about 6 months. The warranty is one year, and when I contacted the seller through Amazon, the seller sent me a replacement within 5 days. Outstanding! All good with me, and that is why I recommend this device.

Moving the clip between USB and Micro-USB and back is a bit tricky without he point of a pen or something
