Good starter bundle & applicator (sold separately)
Update: I have found that practicing the scooping method when using the disc works really well. So far it seems to be in place and there have been no leaks. Admittedly, I'm only at the beginning of my cycle so time will tell as I get a bit heavier whether it is in place properly or not.For those that might find the pull string a bit uncomfortable, I found tucking it under the bottom of the disc keeps it out of the way and prevents rubbing but is also then easy to access when you need to pull the cup out.-----------Original review:I bought these because I was desperate to get away from big towels, especially during the heatwave.I find the idea of these easier and a little less 'invasive' than cups especially as there is no suction holding it in place so you can easily pull it out (my hands get stiff from time to time so I lose movability).I found it easy to put in, however, on the day I used them my cervix decided to shift towards my tail bone and I found, even with the applicator, I couldn't quite get it 'tucked' at the back. So I invested in the pixie cup too. This isn't a fault with the product and I have kept them for the days my cervix behaves itself as I felt it was much easier to put the disc in than the cup, especially with checking if it had opened properly.Pros-Excellent bundle. Having 2 different sizes helps you to find your 'fit'.The sanitising bowl is fantastic. I used it both ways, in the microwave and with boiled water fresh from the kettle. Easy to do either.Having the cleansing gel and wipes means you always know your product is clean before reuse. The travel lube is handy too, so if you do need to empty and reuse your disc whilst out it means you don't need to carry a big pump/bottle around with you.The little canvas bags are colour matched to the colour of the disc which makes it easier to see which size you're grabbing without having to open them all.And they all fit nicely in the black bag for monthly storage.Cons-If your cervix shifts you may find it a bit tricky to get into the right position. It is possible but requires a bit of practice, which is why I'll try again on my next cycle, even if I shift, to see if I can get it to work.********Frustratingly, I cannot review the applicator separately so I will do it here.I found this applicator is very good for helping to keep the disc folded during insertion as, due to my hands, I was finding it tricky to keep it folded.Being able to change the end of the 'plunger' part to match the size of the disc is also handy. The only issue I have is the cleaning aspect. Yes, it can be cleaned with water and a suitable cleanser but I find it tricky to rinse inside the applicator, especially if it's been a messy insertion. Having a small brush like item to help with this would make it even better. It is larger than a super plus tampon but I found using lube made using this really easy. Definitely worth the investment if you struggle to keep your disc folded whilst inserting.

Brilliant!
Wish I had known about these years ago! So much easier to insert and remove than menstrual cups, and every bit as effective. I have quite a heavy flow and I can go around 6 hours between emptying, and up to 10 hours overnight whilst lying down. Saves a fortune on single use sanitary products, as I would easily soak through super plus tampons in less than 2 hours, so this is next level great for me. I did switch from tampons to a cup prior to finding these disks, but cups are such a faff to insert and get them to open properly, sometimes leading to leakage. Never once had an issue with disk placement, I don't see how you could get it wrong really, but using the lube supplied really helps with insertion, as you're placing it way higher than a cup. If you've not tried Pixie disks just do it, you won't regret it!

Amazing! Highly recommend.
I have been a cup user for several years and loved my cup until it broke, the replacement just wasn't up to much. After some researching I decided to try a pixie disk and am so glad I went for this pack. The choice of 2 disk sizes is great, although I have only tried the larger one so far, as well as the wash, steriliser, lube, stain remover and large carry bag.The disk itself is amazing! This is my first cycle using it and I have been so impressed. The first few times inserting were a little difficult and needed reinsertion a few times as it wasn't properly inserted but after a few attempts I got the hang of it, 4 days in and I'm a pro. I have had no leaks which is impressive after 2 runs (5km on 2nd day and a 6km), dance workout, gardening and 2 days in work (school so lots of getting up and down off the carpet).I barely feel it once inserted although I do tuck the tail up as it sits slightly uncomfortable if left to hang but I am reluctant to remove as it is very helpful when removing the disk.I would recommend this to anyone that is considering a new form of menstrual protection, it is fanatic.

Don’t give up on the disk. Buy this!
I have a had a mental disc for around 7 months now and had pretty much given up as I could never get the placement right. I bought the applicator to see if it would make a difference and it’s a game changer. So much easier and correct placement every time. I was able to wear the disc on my heaviest day out at an event for almost 13 hours without issue. The process has been pretty much seamless thanks to the applicator. The 2 reasons I haven’t given five stars are that, firstly, the little handle broke immediately, this doesn’t effect use for me but may if you have any accessibility needs. And secondly, I use a large pixie disc and the applicator is slightly too small for it in my opinion. You have to start pushing it out to fit the applicator together properly which decreases the comfort level slightly when using.Overall I would say if you’re finding it difficult to insert your disk then definitely give this a try before giving up.

A must have kit for any woman wanting to move away from unhealthy disposable brands. Get it!!!
If you are considering getting this set, get it. If you're wondering whether it'd worth the cost, it is.Honestly I believe everyone woman should have this set. It comes in a bag which helps keep everything together, hygenic and is to stock when your cycle is finished. The duo of cup size is great for varying flow in the cycle. I also got the applicator to help pop the disc in. I previously had another brand but really struggled getting it in and out and forever had to wear a pad as it always leaked. So far with the applicator it's always be securely in place and the little toggle makes removing so much less messy too. I also purchased the steamer. Get it!! Pixie you have absolutely nailed periods. Thank you.

The kit it’s complete but the discs didn’t work out for me!
I liked the kit, the quality is very good and the idea it’s great except that it didn’t work for me! The bigger disc hurts me and the small one leaks! I have been trying to use it for 3 months without any success. Maybe if the kit had an medium disc it would work better for me!
