I have been living a life of luxury today, thoroughly testing these rollers. I admit I was hesitant at first, wondering what would distinguish them from foam rollers or other massage tools I've used in the past, but that gel core makes a world of difference. Without the core, however, they're still great massage tools at room temperature, digging deep into your muscles and rubbing out any tightness you might have.The gel core is so nice though, and so easy to heat up or cool. Pop it into the freezer and forget about it for a few hours and then bam, you've got a relaxing cold massage waiting right there for you. Want some heat? No problem, even easier, heat up some water and stick your massager of choice in there, it'll absorb the warmth in moments.I noticed that the gel stayed cooler a lot longer than it stayed hot, but that might have something to do with how long it takes to either heat/cool them. The cool temp requires a few hours in the fridge, and as I mentioned above the heat function is ready in minutes. It definitely stays warm for long enough to get a good massage in, but the massagers seem to stay cold for over an hour once you take them out.The construction is also surprisingly good, especially on the larger, puck-like massager. The puck has grippy rubber on the bottom of it which not only lets it sit more gently on whatever surface you place it on, but keeps it from rolling around super easily like it would if it was flat plastic. The threading to remove the roller ball is also fairly robust despite how shallow it is, and it looks like it will last a while. It also spins freely and with zero hesitations, allowing you to change directions on a whim at any point of your massage. Contrast that to the handled roller ball, which only rolls along one axis. Honestly though, they're both useful in different ways and I'm super happy with both of them.In summary, mechanically these are great massagers, and their temperature capabilities make them fantastic additions to anyone's muscle relief routine. I'm definitely going to keep using them!

This works great on sore muscles after a long day. I keep it stored in the freezer and it is ice cold and ready to use. I haven't used it with heat yet as I find the most relief with coldness. I really like the suction cup bottom so you can place it on a wall and rub the sore area up against it. The suction cup also comes off and has a rubber grip so you can use it yourself or have someone use it on you. The metal ball rolls freely and effortlessly. Add a bit of pressure and it feels like heaven. Overall I was quite surprised at the relief I've received from using this.

The iECO cryosphere cold massage roller ball is a welcome addition to my post workout routines during my strength and mobility fitness days. I have been leaving the steel massager ball inside the refrigerator for at least 30-minutes and found that the coldness of the roller ball quickly helps with working through the tough muscle spasms and tightness of my rhomboids, upper back and shoulder areas.This special feature and good construction of the massager makes a big difference in the amount of time and effort to release tension and pain created during my workout routines and recovery - great value!

The pain just melted away once I applied this. the plastic holder keeps my hand from getting too cold and stealing all the coolness, while letting the sphere roll freely. I haven't tried it heated yet but think that will be wonderful too.

Bought for partner who is into his fitness and recovery. Seems to be a useful aid to help him. I also find it quite easy to hold and move (went for larger size) unlike a tennis ball so can get deep into the muscle you want to use it on. Haven't yet tried it in freezer or heated it. Happy with purchase

Item received in good condition in a nice branded box. You receive two massagers, one which is on a roller with a handle and the other that sits in a rubber type base.Firstly these massage balls are very nicely made and of a very high quality. The massager roller has a shirt sturdy handle and frame and you can really press hard on the massage point and dig this deep into your sore muscles without any worry of breaking it. This massager rolls back and forth in the direction you push it. I have found it very useful for using on my calf muscles after a run. It’s also handy to use on your own shoulders by reaching behind and self massaging by using the handle.The other massager is set in a rubber base but differs by being able to massage in any direction so if you need to massage in L or U shapes you can do so very easily with this one.You have the option for hot and cold massage with them too. The cold massage works brilliantly well. It’s cool anyway being a metal but pop it in the freezer for an hour or two and this comes out ice cold and you can really feel the difference and works great as a post exercise massager to really help those tired sore muscles.The heat option is via placing it in hot water and although it does heat it and give off a nice warmth, it does cool pretty quick so you need to massage quickly with this one.Overall these are two excellent manual massagers that really work well and give great results.
