Good replacement for high-end electronics
I have a 16 port network switch mounted on a wall in my attic . I don't know if the original fans were just a cheap design or just weren't meant to operate in that orientation, but they began to make horrible stopping and starting grinding noises that could be heard throughout the house. I replaced the existing fans with these and they have been whisper quiet since. They are super easy install. This saved me the hassle of having to disconnect my network switch and ship it back for service.

These fans work as expected, noise is tolerable
These fans work as expected, noise is tolerable. I use these fans to replace the OEM fans in a Dell PowerConnect 5324 as they were very loud and had bad bearings. With all four fans running that’s when they become tolerably loud. I’m not sure if this product is designed to run 24/7 365 days a year, but that’s what they will do now.As a sidenote I haven’t actually measured the fan itself but it claims to be 40 X 40 X 10, well that’s the same measurement in the dell poweconnect 5324 according to Dells website, but the fans did not fit correct, which required me to only use one hole rather than two (which really shouldn’t be a problem), like I said I didn’t measure it so I don’t know if this is just my issue with my Dell powerconnect case, or if the fan is incorrectly measured.

A good, quiet little fan with mounting points in all the right places
I'm using this as a cooling fan for a plasma generator circuit (rather than for a 3D printer). It works great. It easily moves the air well enough to cool off some power resistors and a power transistor heat sink, it's very quiet, and runs on 12VDC, which is exactly what I needed.

They don't move any air
I bought these for my lorex dvr to replace the fans but these new ones hardly move any air. maybe the lorex dvr doesn't have enough amps. they are quiet though they may be useful with something else maybe but they don't work for me.
