It actually works great but after 5 or 6 hours at work I usually have to take it off because the bottom of it where the straps meet irritates the sole of my foot. I’ve tried a bunch different boots because acquired many trying to get rid of plantar fasciitis which made my bum ankle ( due to 2 severe sprains) even harder to deal with. I think they’re good thought and definitely worth a try if your ankle gives you trouble. It may not even irritate your foot at all. I still wear it because it’s works well and I take it off if I have to

I unfortunately seem to have angered whatever diety holds dominion over ankles, because I've been tripping, spraining and breaking my ankles since I was old enough to walk.In the past year, I have have fallen down a flight of stairs, broken an ankle, a toe, and suffered a major sprain on my other ankle.In other words, I am extraordinary clumsy. As my many many ankle injuries have taken a toll on my ankles, in my ripe old age of 32 whole years. I have found that they don't work like they used to. One of them clicks when I walk, the other... Well. It doesn't hold weight like it used to, and it sure ain't pretty. I gave up on wearing high heels pretty much as soon as I discovered them. Flats and combat boots for me.Anyway, I've tried compression wraps before, but they always left something to be desired. Too tight, too loose, that ugly beige color. Blech.So I ordered up a pair of these bad boys. They are adjustable! They have cute colors! What more could a girl ask for? Now I'm scootin all around the place (not quickly, mind you).So, if you're accident prone, need some extra support, or have offended an ancient ankle obsessed diety, these are pretty good.

These are almost perfect. I sprained my ankles and I also have high arches so I have a considerable amount of pain when I stand for long periods at work. These wrap around my ankles and arches in just the right way to give both the support they need.The only problem is the way they lay on the back of my foot causes irritation because the material rubs. I’ll either have to wear socks underneath or put a barrier of some sort so it doesn’t cause blisters.They aren’t too bulky and if adjusted right could probably fit in sneakers. I also have a long slender foot size 7 and they fit me just fine and I can see how they would easily be adjusted depending on your foot. Overall, best bang for your buck if you need something lightweight with good support.
