I wish I knew about these beads sooner - they would have been nice in a couple past projects. This is the first time I've tried them, so I don't know about other brands to compare, but these have a nice weight and are easy to use. I had a crocheted hacky sack that had been lying around waiting for a filler for a while, so that's the first thing I tried. I crocheted it tight with a small hook, so the beads are staying in ok, but I wouldn't use these in a crochet project otherwise - without a really tight stitch they would easily slip out.I wanted a good amount of these, so I was kind of surprised at the small size of the bag for 2 lbs. I don't think I'd fill an entire stuffy with these due to the cost. Mine also arrived not completely sealed, so that when I opened the shipping bag, beads spilled everywhere. Something to watch for...

These worked perfectly in a stuffed animal I made for my daughter. This particular 4-legged stuffed animal needed to be firm and not soft and squishy. I used this product in the bottom of the feet so it would always stand up....and it did. Easy to use and a great value for the money.

Used to fill a shooting bag which keeps the bags total weight down but be durable for long termuse, five stars so far

Worked great for what I needed it for. Havent tried to wash them but i dont if I ever will out of fear. 😅
