This is the third metal hose I have purchased. My rubber, vinyl, and expanding hoses only last maybe a year before they explode. I haven't had an issue with these. I have two on covered hose reels and this one I will roll up into an empty flower pot. They are heavy when full of water, but very light to handle and roll up when you release the water in the hose. The nozzle it comes with is very light and basic. The mechanism is all plastic so I don't expect it to last too long, but it works and comes with the hose.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: No kinks or tangles. This is the best garden hose ever. It reminds me of the hoses that were very popular at one time because of their flexibnility. However their cloth type outer layer often leaked after a while. The metal cover on this protects the hose without affecting the great flexibility

Generally, I don’t like giving five stars because I jinxed myself lol but so far so good. This item is everything it says it is it’s very flexible. It looks good and it does not kink I live in Arizona and it’s about 110° here right now and it stays like that for many months, I hope it holds up in this heat. Very easy to use and Light and sturdy. I will keep you posted if I have any issues with it. 50 feet is perfect for what I need it for.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hose. It's made of some sort of metallics and seems to be free of all of the bad characteristics of rubber hoses I've used in the past. It doesn't kink, it easily moves where you want it to go when you pull on it, and it seems so durable as if maybe I won't have to replace it for a very long time. I'd definitely buy it again if/when it's time to replace the one in my back yard.

It's much better than the rubber ones. We had those for a year, but the rubber was worn out and started to leak. The metal ones are much more durable; this one, in particular, is very sturdy and easy to use! Great product!
