Just What I Needed!
I wanted to set up a Bokashi Composting system but didn't want to spend a ton on the fancy (read: logo-stamped and expensive) bin system. So I'm using my own 5-gallon buckets with Gamma Seal lids and this spigot on the bottom bucket for draining the "tea".This little device works like a charm and was VERY easy to install. I used a 3/4" flat blade drill bit for the hole, and when the faucet is installed, the washers snug right up against the bucket on each side so there are no leaks! When using the spigot, it's either on or it's off; no dribbling! The only thing that might be a problem for some is that the spigot sticks out 4-5 inches from the bucket overall, which might get knocked or kicked depending on where you store it. I have the buckets turned so the spigot is against the wall of the garage which gives them a bit of protection. No problems so far and I am very satisfied!

Great for turning a watermelon into a beverage dispenser!!
I bought this for the purpose of turning a watermelon into a watermelon lemonade dispenser for a summer backyard BBQ we hosted and it worked fabulously!! Didn't leak at all, even by the next day! If you use a standard size apple corer to make your hole, this spigot should fit into it perfectly. I just inserted some plastic wrap or tin foil on the sides of the hole to help get a nice seal and prevent any leaking but I think it would work just fine even without that. I got a million compliments!! If you're interested in the watermelon lemonade recipe I'm happy to give it upon request. It's easy to make with your blender!

Outstanding replacement faucet
This replacement cooler faucet was exactly what I needed. I bought it to install on a cooler that was not designed for a faucet. I wanted a smaller cooler than a 2 gallon with a faucet. After looking in numerous different stores, I decided to try drilling a hole in a 2 1/2 qt. cooler and installing a faucet myself. The threaded portion of the replacement faucet was a little short. So, I used a heat gun and warmed up the area around the hole I drilled in the cooler and was able to push it in far enough to be able to use the rubber washer and plastic nut (included) to secure the faucet. Then to prevent any possible leaks, I used some clear epoxy around the outside around the faucet flange. No leaks. Works great.

Cheap and best replacement for Brita dispensers
I use this for for my brita water dispenser when the original faucet broke. The reason for not full 5 star is because... they need to have color combination of black and white ( like the original) They ave either black or white today. No complaints on functionality and completely satisfied. More over this comes at a fraction of the price compared to an original replacement

It worked for my little project
I purchased this to make a drain bucket for oil when changing oil on my vehicles. Used oil goes in the bucket and this valve makes it easy to put the used oil into the empty bottles to drop at the the auto parts store for disposal. It is obviously not very complicated, but it functions well and does not leak. The price is comparable to others, which I find to be about twice as much as it should be, but that's just my opinion about a cheap piece of plastic. If it were brass, I could see it costing more of course.Giving it 5 stars for function, which is really what we all care about.

Works great for my suntea jar
I have a suntea jar that I just love and did not want to throw away. The spigot that came with the jar had started to leak so bad that I just had to quit using it. So I came to Amazon because they carry EVERYTHING and low and behold they had this item which is described as a water dispenser replacement faucet. But because it looks so similar to what I had on my jar I decided to give it a shot since it only cost upwards of around $8 and no shipping. I just couldn't pass up the chance that it would work. And sure enough it is a perfect fit and does not leak and I actually like it better than the original one that came with the jar. Instead of pushing on the little nub to dispense the tea like I had to do before, now I have a nice big lever that I push down to despense my tea. Very please with my purchase.

Good, quality, PLEASE READ MY REVIEW.
Good, quality item. However please note. Most water jug caps will need the back side drilled out for this to work. Once you have treated the spout KEEP IT ON THE SAME LID AND DON’T REMOVE IT. Every-time you threat this into a different lid it is your guess if it will be aligned to your preference or ideally perpendicular. Once you find a lid/cap and thread this spout to the sweet spot, leave it there and change the lid/cap to a new jug. I recommend using gorilla glue or a spider gun to keep others from un-threading/removing the spout.

Easy To Install No-Leak Replacement Spigot
I ordered three of these to replace the worn out and leaky spigots that came with the ceramic water crocks that we bought from a thrift store. (We make continuous brew kombucha in the ceramic crocks.)The replacement spigots were easier to install than the old spigots were to remove. There is a diagram showing correct placement of the washers printed on the heat sealed bag that the spigots are packaged in. The washers need to be installed properly (with the flat side facing away from the hole in the crock) and the jam nut tightened enough to slightly squish the washers against the crock walls. We have had no leakage issues from any of the three replacement spigots.I really like that these spigots can be disassembled for cleaning. The lever portion unscrews from the spigot body. We have one particularly exuberant kombucha strain that will quickly clog a spigot with a baby scoby. Being able to occasionally take this spigot apart to remove the little scoby keeps the kombucha flowing.I am very happy with these Tomlinson Replacement Faucets, and think had the ceramic crock’s previous owners known that they could have replaced the worn out and leaky spigots on their ceramic water crocks they wouldn’t have donated them to the thrift store where we found them.

Awesome
I have a ceramic water jug and the original valve failed. I was lucky to find this one but took a chance on it being cheaply make. When installing make sure the gaskets are very tight to to the wall and tighten the nut well or it will leak. Once I had it on property it works much better than the original, no leaks or drops. I'm very very pleased.

Excelente calidad
Buena calidad, sin queja alguna. El único inconveniente es la tardanza en la entrega. Pero vale la pena el producto.
