African Black Soap Bar with Shea Butter - 4.23 oz | Pure & Natural Cleanser for All Skin Types

Absolutely love this soap. I have been trying to find a soap that cleans my skin and makes me feel smooth and refreshed and this does just that. No need to buy any other soap now that I have this! :)

This soap has a light pleasant scent to it, it lathers well, rinses off easy, and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.

I'm loving this soap bar! It leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized. I've used a bunch of other soap bars but they all feel like they strip my natural oils and then I'm itchy out of the shower. This one does not do that 100% try it.

I admit I thought this was named Elvira soap. (ha) I also thought this was a larger bar. I am not good at estimating sizes based on weights. 4.23oz is a tiny bar more the size of a facial bar. I appreciate it is a more natural approach and has no sulfates or parabens. Nice and moisturizing with the oils and I think the bamboo charcoal may act a bit as an exfoliator. As expected from the ingredients, it is a pliable soap and it does smell nice, earthy. Softer glycerin soaps like this tend to "melt" in showers so I will have to see how it holds up in the soap dish. On one hand, I feel it is a little expensive ($6.95) for the size as my husband and I will go through this pretty quickly. On the other hand, I've seen other similar type soaps this size for 2x as much. So, it depends on your usage, values and how long it lasts for you.

This soap smells great and lathers up nicely. It has a light scent that isn't too strong. It rinses off easily and my skin feels soft after using it. I think the Shea Butter may have something to do with that.

My July 2024 order of ‘Evira African Black Soap Bar with Shea Butter - 4.23 oz’ arrived as a single bar soap measuring 2 3/4 inches by 1 7/8 inches by 3/4 inch. The soap itself was protected by a plastic wrap, and had a small (recyclable) paperboard label wrapped around it as well. The label shows a surprisingly simple (and mostly natural) ingredient list, but no information as to where the soap is made. (The product listing states Country of Origin: China). No expiration date other than the standard 12M symbol (twelve months after opening).The soap itself is smooth (no grit), and produces minimal lather; I prefer more lather, especially in the shower. I also found the bar size to be a bit small for shower use — might work better as a face soap at the sink. Still, the soap worked well enough to clean, and I’ve had no adverse skin effects (like drying out). At $6.95 per (small) bar, this soap is probably beyond my price range for day-to-day shower soap.

This soap is so full of good for your skin ingredients! Very mild.l, but natural scent. Plus it has charcoal for clarification of impurities on your skin. Highly recommend for anybody who has sensitive skin, or is just tired of putting chemicals on themselves every day!
