Rotastak Rainbow Runner

Bought as we had to separate our hamsters and in dividing the cages up one missed out on a wheel!It's a good add on to rotastak cages however it is worth noting that it only attaches onto the actual pod/cage and not onto any tunnels/accessories. I attached it to one of the larger pods which had two entrances so wasn't really a problem anyway. I like that it clips onto the outside of the pod as it doesn't take up any of the space inside.It's quiet when it's being used, there is some noise but not enough to disturb. The only problem we have with it is our hamster likes to take sawdust in with her and when she runs it flicks out all over the place! There is always a little pile of sawdust directly underneath it and when she really gets going she can spread it up to 3 feet away!!

This wheel only fits on the cage itself not on the extra tubes I fitted so that limits its usefulness to me. Also it was too big and stiff for my dwarf hamster to move so we had to make some adaptations to it. Its also a bit noisy.

This is a great Product and is very handy as it fits on to any Rotastak Cage. I ordered this wheel on the Friday and got it the next day which was very good. Its not the quietest wheel I've every bought but its not very noisy either. Its very easy to clean and I love the over all shape and colour of the wheel. Good Value For Money as well

Despite being advertised as a syrian hamster wheel, it's way too small, even for youngsters. A fully grown has no chance! I measured the diameter and I THINK it's 6.5 inches (could be 7ish???). A fully grown syrian needs at LEAST an 11 inch wheel do that they are not curving their body when they run, as they do run for miles.If rotastak made the same wheel in a larger size, it would be perfect. Can get noisy if hamster puts any food inside! And hamster's sometimes set up a nest inside as it's enclosed.

Was this quite I would give it 5 start my mice love it but its too noisy I can hear them in it upstairs at the other side of the house

This runner fits perfectly onto the Rotastak pipes and means that the Hamsters' exercise wheel / runner doesn't need to be in the cage itself. The hamster has one entry and exit point but the wheel runs really smoothly and is easy to take apart to clean.My only gripe, and this is more directed to my hamster, is that my daughter's hamster likes to sleep and / or pull bedding and food into the runner and because it is enclosed it needs to be removed (by an human). The bigger issue is that our hamster likes to run in it when all of the bedding and food is in there which makes quite a lot of noise as the hard food rattles around the plastic wheel.Not a fault of the product though so 5 stars from us.

We have a hamster that can run for kilometers every night. Receiving this easy to fit, easy to clean wheel, that is ESSENTIALLY very quiet was a relief.

Now makes the most annoying grinding noise as our little dusty runs around :( not happy!!!
